Possibility to view live camera footage in the Homey dashboard.

I hadn’t see to the podcast yet, so I wasn’t aware of the details. As additional feedback on the podcast, a nice addition to the Best Buy Guides would be security cameras and doorbells. Which ones (soon) show live images in the Homey Dashboard, and for which cameras and doorbells can the sensors be used in Homey

Is there already an update on this? I would love to see the live view working.

Hi Bart,

It’s available as of the end of September (see post above yours).
Make sure the mobile app is at least updated to:

Two: The app you use needs to have added support for RTSP streams.

The Onvif Camera app for example has!

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the response! I already had the app but needed to download the untested version. Now i have one camera working. This is direct on the network. The other camera’s wired via NVR dont work for a live stream. Only screenshots. do you have any suggestions on that?

To me it’s unknown if multiple livestreams are possible;
It’s best to post your question to the Onvif app topic I linked to > other Onvif users and the dev read along!
