Has anyone integrated the Konnected Alarm Panel Pro (with ESPHome firmware) to Homey Pro using MQTT? I’m looking for any pointers, warnings and sample setup if possible for the MQTT interface. After the MQTT integration, I plan to use the Heimdall app for the flows and user interface. Thanks in advance for any information.
When it’s an ESPhome based device, why MQTT?
You could give the ESPhome app a go first?

Why not using MQTT? Seems like the robust option imho
It is supported on both ends, and would not break with new releases. Esphome support in Homey seems quite fragile.
I found that using ESPhome was easier than the MQTT coding. ESPhome on the Konnected GDO has been very stable over the past 7 months. No issues at all. I would like to move to the Matter FW since there have been updates to the Matter spec for garage door openers. I haven’t looked into it lately. I’m hoping that Konnected can make a certified Matter release (I think this is the correct wording) that would be recognized on the Homey Pro side. Again, I haven’t looked into this for months. Someone else may know the status of connecting the Konnected GDO to Homey via Matter.
