Just changed from home assitant to homey

no mqtt zigbee on home assistant

yes now theres simplier ways to integrate to home assistant but originally you made connection through developer on tuya , afer tuya app upped its security. 3rd party integration on git hub for tuya got better over the years

QR is only recently on devices

8 relays as digital switches. 00000000 01000100 etc now a word read on other platform. lag and baud compromised do to cloud but managable you reset to 8 zeros when read.

sorry about the delay in response but i was resticted as new user on the amount of comments allowed in forum.

sofar homey seems to be a monitoring platform with threshhold , switch ,input number and binary controls. Lots of work done by community. still not a true across platform hub.

else thanks for the introduction to Homey

I don’t understand what you mean by the QR code? None of my Tuya devices have one.

I don’t experience any latency with my Tuya devices on Homey. Is the device far away from your router?

when you have a device on two platforms via the cloud there action doesnt correspond exactly. the other guy asked about qr not me.

its because off upload and download speed differences with your internet provider not all upload channels are available . package upload and packages downloaded via the internet . does that help

i tried to understand your posts, but i must say that i don’t understand half of them. For me most of them are about general issues with more environments and not apply only to Homey.
Can’t you just simply explain what real problems you have with Homey?

I want access to all devices on other platforms apps with full use of all entities to use through one device the homey.

Which devices do you have? I read Tuya, but what others? Not all devices are supported, some of the manufacturers make it impossible to integrate their products with captcha’s and other bot protections.

For Tuya devices, you can install this app:

Yes I know I was just hoping homey was more capable. I invested in it believing it’s description on web site and thought it was more advanced. My assumptions. Had it for 24hrs found not useful for me. Homey has its niche. I am still searching for ui that minimises my recoding all the time. Sorry

I don’t get it. You “want it all”, but you insist on using Tuya crap. Nuff said.

Maybe you should develop an “everything works with my hub” device yourself. I think you will get very very rich…

What do you want Homey to do then? Which device or feature are you missing?
