Ikea TRÅDFRI switch/dimmer does not show battery status, it did it before. I have tried to repair the devices without any luck. Does anyone know how to fix it?
The IKEA battery status is very inaccurate, they probably removed it.
What do you mean exactly? Is the battery icon missing completely, or is only an empty battery with a question mark displayed, like this one?
Hmm, at first I thought, no way. Then I looked at the relevant flow cards of the TRADFRI Wireless Dimmer Switch in the Homey App Store and found out, that there is no “When…” flow card available which reacts to a change in battery level.
However, I don’t know if such a flow card ever existed.

Why is the battery symbol displayed?
Because I was looking into the code… not sure if it was exactly this device but saw for many it doesn’t work. However it’s Athom developed app so maybe submit them a ticket.

I would also recommend contacting Athom Support, @Felix_oslo. I would be interested to hear their response.
