How to remove "This app is not supported anymore!"

Dear community,

From about december 2024 I have been getting this message: “This app is not supported anymore!”.

I’ve been searching the forum for answers, and threads reference different apps that might have been affected (e.g. Homey ESPresense room presense system, SmartThings - One simple home system. A world of possibilities, Loops, HERE Free location & map services). However, I don’t have any of these installed.

From the screenshot below, you can see the error message and all installed apps.

Thankful for any advice to resolve.

Are all apps up-to-date?

Yes, I have verified that all installed apps have the same version number on my homey as stated on the app store.

If you go to the Timeline settings, do you see an app with the same icon as shown in those notifications? That might give you a clue.

I only know of one case a while ago, with these apps shown below, but you found out already.
The developer removed these messages with an app update, hence my question.

But you don’t seem to use one of those?

The icon in timeline is the cogwheel, but no apps seems to use that. The Homey system uses that icon, but the homey is up to date.

No, I don’t have any of those installed.

I found the app in the timeline! Thanks SunBeech, I mistook the notification area from the actual timeline.

It seems like the culprit was MelCloud app. I will uninstall and verify.

Odd, because the notificatoon area = timeline

The timeline @ mobile app probably shows more specific (app) icons?

All in all, imho it’s a very peculiar way to communicate the app doesn’t get support anylonger.
At least put the app name in the message :joy:

I was referring to the Timeline section in Homey’s settings (so not the actual timeline with notifications in the web app nor in the mobile app) :

Anyway, good to hear that it’s fixed now.

FYI

Ah, I see!
Because it has a common “apps” entry as well, I concluded one still can’t find out which app sends notifications.
But fortunately the Melcloud app had it’s own entry :person_cartwheeling::tada:
