[Homey Energy Dongle & Mobile App (Dark) Copy (1) 2] The Energy-tab is back! And it’s better than ever! :high_voltage: Welcome to the megathread for the all-new Energy-tab, which is currently in public beta. We’re set out the reimagine the energy experience within Homey, leveraging your existing devices in a completely new way. Homey Energy helps you monitor your home’s realtime energy usage, and view historic data to compare between days, weeks, months and years. Homey Energy can monitor electricity, gas & water. Dynamic electricity prices are also available. Homey Energy works best with the recently announced Homey Energy Dongle, but also works with a variety of 3rd party smart meters. Requirements Homey Pro (Early 2023) with v12.3.0 or later, or Homey Cloud. Getting Started Install the latest version of the Homey app, and the all-new Energy-tab will appear. FAQ Do I need the Homey Energy Dongle? You do not need the Homey Energy Dongle to use the Energy-tab in the Homey app. Third party smart meters may also work, but we cannot guarantee the same level of experience. Is Energy available for Homey Pro (2016 — 2019)? The new Energy features are not available for older generations of Homey Pro. When will the Homey Energy Dongle ship? The current timeline is that the Homey Energy Dongle will ship in March 2025. I don’t see any historic data? Your historic energy data will start logging once your Homey Pro has installed v12.3.0. Every day, week, month and year an energy report will be created.

But e.g. here is water in the dashboard…

The meter_water capability must be present in the device. And the device must have the cumulative flag. The developer should take a look at the SDK examples for energy settings.

I had the samething with some of my fibaro wall plugs, and fibaro shutter modulles. The problem was the KWh from the plug! It shows peak values, that’s why this happens. See this screenshot: [IMG_0349]

It’s hard to say that @Kringloper’s issue is the same like yours, because he didn’t showed the Insights of the energy consumption. But I recognized the same issue like you also with Z-Wave devices some days ago: [Picsew_20241228163902] (Fibaro Double Switch FGS-223, Firmware v3.3, Homey Fibaro App v3.8.0) [Picsew_20241228164017] (Aeotec Smart Switch 7 ZW175, Firmware v1.3, Homey Aeotec App v.3.14.3) Homey Pro (early 2023), Firmware v12.3.0-rc.10. @Harwin, @Doekse, @bouke, @Robin, I don’t know who is the right person, sorry for that, but could someone please have a look at this? For me it looks like that there are (still) problems with the Z-Wave integration. Homey Diagnostics Report ID: 4D8BC985 Fibaro App Diagnostics Report ID: 44d8a92f-676e-4906-af88-8397c7a0aca9

Here some insights  [1000007254] [1000007253] [1000007252]

It was just a tip, from my site. Show the kwh from a year, the you will see it.

Tips are always appreciated! If i look at the weekchart the amount used kWh is way of. But i also can’t find a place/insight where the numbers of the energy widget are replicated within the device. [1000007255]

It’s something else in your case, because the 30 kWh seems to be right. In my case the kWh values where n.o.k. Are there strange values in the house kWh?

@Waldo I managed to open the garage door by setting the wall plug between my e-bike charger to the “ev-charger” type. @Doekse can you make an option so we can choose the “ev” type ourselves? e.g. bicycle, scooter motorcycle or car (so the image changes). An EV vehicle is not by definition a “car” Thanks.
