So,
I flashed a Galaxy Tab S (T525) to Android 9.
The dashboard works satisfactorily here.
More than Android 9 is too much for this tab.
Thanks
@Rocky_Lonigro it is good to realize that the community forum is where you get in contact with other Homey users. We (Athom employees) get involved in topics that we think are valuable. But this too is completely random. Often we are aware of what is posted.
Now that’s out of the way, answer to your questions :
View only dashboards
I think it is nice to have some locked dashboard, we are still working on ideas for this
not count for sleep (last sleep first wake up and so on…)
not count for being home (last to go out and so on… )
This might not be necessary if we have some locked dashboard.
Just a quick question - is the latest version of the app for IOS still 9.0.0 (1574)?
Yes, according to TestFlight.
Is there a way to have shared css and js for all widgets within an app?
Thanks
@Eilev you can put the JS and CSS on a top level in your app.
And then run a script from your package.json to add these files to all your widgets. Not ideal, but as far as i know there’s no other option
I have a Homey Pro Early 2023 but don’t see the option for dashboards.
What version of the Mobile App are you using??
Hello! Thanks for the tip.
For information to avoid sharing calendars publicly, just be logged in to your Google account through this widget.
Once the widget is created, just put the URL https://myaccount.google.com/ and put your credentials.
Once done, replace this URL with that of your calendar and that’s it.
Quick question, have you found a solution for the widget to switch to dark theme?
Me no!
@Emile, I got the update for the Android app. However, still 2 columns for my Galaxy tab S4 (2560 x 1600) Should be 3 right? Also like to nitice that I think it will be useful that users can choose how many Columns they want themself.
EDIT: After selecting a smaller font it’s working fine now with 3 columns.
Couldn’t find anything to be able to set a dark bg.
On my dashboard, the trashcan reminder widget (my favorite ) is reloading/refreshing very often. Like multiple times an hour and at least every time the screen of the dashboard is turned on. All the other widgets don’t reload that often, or at least don’t show they’re reloading because they don’t grey our for a few seconds.
The developer said it’s maybe something on Athom side and he didn’t build some refresh stuff in the widget. It looks like the Athom widgets (except the music playing) don’t have the refresh problem.
As I’m using the dashboards more and more, I’m missing some options to show some states of devices, flows and variables a little bit more clear.
For example: I’m using it to show the status of my doorlocks, but there’s almost no difference between closed (last two) and open (first one) , so there an option to change the icon or control the color with a flow is welcome.
Starting to play with the Dashboard idea now, and first thing I notice, is that I cannot view a large grid format of the devices, would like that in the settings when adding (favorite) devices for example. So expanded settings for the cards.
Small text size alone didn’t do it for me, I had to change “View mode” from “Default” to “Small” as well.
+1 on the choise to define numbers of columns themself.
On what kind of device?
Some old android tablet. Huawei mediapad m5 lite 10 running Android 8.
Is there a way to automatically see a certain dashboard based on time.
In the morning I want to operate different things and see information than in the evening.
For example, during the week in the morning more information about the weather is very important and in the evening I want to determine the atmosphere and lighting.
I’d say, make it possible to display a certain dashboard an a certain device from a flow action card, that way anybody can choose their own reasoning for a particular dashboard on particular circumstances.
