I’ve been reading and responding on the forum for quite a while but lately it’s almost impossible to react on messages on an iPad.
The editor is unreadable and the cursor is not on the position where you’re actually typing.
Can this please be looked into?
(Funny thing, when posting a new topic the problem isn’t there, just when reacting on existing topics… css issue?)

I am using Chrome on iPad and run into the same. It seems to only be the case on larger pages (on which you have to scroll to the last post)
The work-around is to switch the keyboard into compact mode, so that it hovers as a smaller window over the page. Then typing and selecting text works as usual. The only thing is that I need to switch back to the normal/full screen keyboard again to be able to post the reply (the blue Reply button is not visible/tappable with the compact keyboard active).
It might also be a result of the upgrade to iPadOS 26 and how it handles screen elements in browsers. I did not have this issue before upgrading.
I guess it is a Discourse issue.
I didn’t see it as I have no affected devices.
Can you verify if it is also an issue here also
If so Discourse should fix it.
When not we can ask Athom to check the customization.
