Futurehome Termostat - change modus - regulating effect vs temperature

I have also recently switched from Futurehome to Homey, and I can finally add all my devices and create advanced automations (flows). Honestly, I wish I had made the switch to Homey earlier! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Regarding the FH thermostat/regulator, it seems like it’s not currently supported in Homey.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

1. Manual setup on the thermostat itself:

(May not work depending on the firmware on the termostat)

  • Enter the settings by holding the (+) and (-) buttons together for 5 seconds.
  • Go to Setting 14 (Device type):
    • Value 0 = Regulator
    • Value 1 = Thermostat
  • To configure the regulator mode, go to Setting 15 (Regulator period) to set the cycle duration (in minutes).
    • Example: If you set it to 30 minutes and the regulator is set to 50%, it will be on for 15 minutes and off for 15 minutes in each cycle.

2. Custom Flow in Homey:

  • You can create a flow that operates the device as a power regulator.
  • :warning: Important: I strongly recommend adding a safety mechanism to the flow — for example, turning off the heating if the temperature exceeds 35 °C.

3. Virtual Thermostat (VThermo):

  • Use a compatible temperature sensor along with the VThermo app.
  • This lets you build a virtual thermostat to control the device based on your preferred temperature settings..
