After selecting the devices (I tried with only one or with many), I press “Done” upper left.
This brings me back to the previous screen where I still see that “None” are excluded.
If I reenter the screen where one excludes the devices, there is no devices selected anymore.
I tried with Homey App on my Galaxy S25, on my Galaxy Tab S10+, and with an Android 11 in Bluestacks emulator - always the same issue.
I have Homey Pro 2023 - 12.5.1 and App 9.4.1.1789
Alexa and Google Assistant were both configured already. So, for testing purpose, I did delete all devices and scenes from Amazon Alexa to check if that was the issue (+350 manual delete one by one ). I did also delete the “Skills” Homey from Alexa. But excluding devices still fails
Is there anyone who succeeded in excluding devices ? Or who knows some “tricks” to do it ?
Any relevant suggestion would be welcome…
I wanted to open a ticket at Homey, but I am always redirected to their documentation
Same result over here. Only difference is that I had it working. Now I can’'t add or delete excluded devices and sync just does all including previous excluded ones.
…but I have some more Google home integrations that stopt working. I heard Google is replacing Assistant engine with Gemini to… Make things better???
Thanks for the feedback (I have created a ticket to get support from Homey).
Indeed, I have replaced Google Assistant on my mobile devices with Gemini, and it’s working fine to switch devices managed by Homey on and off (plugs, lights, …). It also automatically discovered the “Automations” defined in Google Home, which now trigger Flows on Homey.
But I am moving to Alexa since Gemini is not supported by my speakers “Sonos One”. Even worse, I disabled Gemini to reinstall Google Assistant on my mobile, and I still can’t reconfigure it on my Sonos One. So Gemini has a downside: It seems it could not be supported by all hardware providers anytime soon.
Same problem here, it used to work. now i have 167 items excludet from google ass. can’t exclude more or include more. Hope your ticket ends with a solution.
I am experiencing the same situation. It used to work but now it does not. Cannot add or remove any devices from exclusion list. Have two Homey Pros in two different homes and both are experiencing the same problem
I will forward your report to Development so they can take a look at it and try to fix it as soon as possible. I can’t give you any guarantees on when your issue will be found and solved, but please know that it will be placed in the right hands and will be investigated.
Your ticket will be paused so that when I get news from Development we will be able to get back to you.
