already done…i was in the meantime already in contact with them and they are informed!![]()
you can also use an app like Ultimate EMS that wil do solar forecasting.
It also comes with a nice link to an online dashboard: ultimate-ems.com
For the orientation, a north-west orientation would be a good addition (opposite panels). This is also a common setup and spreads the peak a bit more.
It’s already there, in the solar panel configuration.
A “steep” angle is 45 degrees. What do I set for vertically mounted panels? Will it optimize it that far?
Ah of course, I meant East-West. Facing the opposite way.
I have east west set up too. Would be good to have more customisation on this going forward, really useful tool
It’s also already possible.
You can create one panel to the east, and one to the west.
Aha using the panel groups. Missed that one. Thanks!
Yes. Id not seen this. Thank you
Has anybody been able to use the solar forecasting in a flow?
Can’t seem to find the tags/variables as shown in the above page.
Don’t understand your point, sorry.
If you’re having problems with the Solar Forecast app, you might want to ask about it in the relevant app thread → [APP][Pro] Solar Forecasts (SolCast + Forecast.Solar)
This thread is about the built-in solar forecasts.
Yes, that’s what I’m talking about, please see the link:
“Homey Energy now forecasts your solar production and tracks what exporting power to the grid earns or costs you. Use the forecast in Flows, and set your export rate so Homey includes it in your energy calculations.”
I haven’t been able to make a flow with the built in solar forecast.
Thanks, that was the issue. I was looking in the “If” section.
German is fine ![]()
