Homey itself isn’t slowing things down.
Especially when it’s a wifi sensor, that’s because of it takes a while for the sensor to wake up and restore its wifi connection.
To test if the sensor signal lags, or if the light responses slow, add (timeline) notifications to your flow:
- When notification arrives during motion detection: light lags
- When notification arrives when light turn on: sensor lags
- When notification arrives somewhere in between: both sensor and light lag
You also most probably experience Zigbee / (Matter-over-)Thread interference and mesh issues: (Thread is very similar to zigbee)
