Custom Remote Controls for Homey

Hi all,

what I want is a standard looking tv remote control that has lots of buttons e.g. a One For All URC1210, but with zigbee/z-wave or any other kind of integration with Homey.

This is so that after saying ‘OK Google, start watching television’ I am able to use the remote to control volume, channel, TV menus etc… The button function could all be configured in Homey.

I do not like using my phone touch screen for such operations and I do not like the standard zigbee conrols that seem to have lots of repeated button with odd symbols on them.

It would be like a Lohitech Harmony ultimate with a hub - but way way better.

Does such a product exist? Are there suggestions for how to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Current remotes that are close but no cigar are

Has 12 buttons but they have pretty useless labels.

Has slightly better looking buttons but only 6 of them.

Maybe the YIO Remote Two when it comes out. According to what I have heard and read in the forums, the YIO Remote One was a flop.

I had one. It was terrible. The support was bad too :frowning:
