Anyone have an idea on how to create a list with the top consumers right now. Top 5 for example. As a widget should be best or in a Advanced Virtual Device maybe?
Yes, but not today or this week. I want to see how much the devices are consuming right now. Sometimes I see that my consumption is really high and then I have to browse trough some devices to find out what and why. It would be practical to see this is a top 5 or top 10 list. Changes every 5, 10 or maybe 30 second for example.
In Devices tab, use the ‘Energy’ button at the top of the screen. (If it’s not showing, click … then Settings to enable it). This shows a live clickable chart and list of energy consumption per zone. You can then drill into a zone with high usage right now to see usage per device. The lists of devices per zone are not sorted by usage so it’s not exactly what you asked for but it is the quickest way I know of finding high consumers right now and works pretty well in my experience

Yeah this ‘old energy tab’ kind of got hidden when the shiny new one came along but as you’ve highlighted it still fulfils some use cases the new one doesn’t. It’s a pity it’s not easier to find from the new Energy tab which is the most logical place to go looking for it.
Agree, this would be great to have as a widget!
