Cast local audio file?

Hi, I have the Soundboard app and the Chromecast app. I’m wondering whether there’s a way to combine these. I’d love to cast a local MP3 to (one of) my Google Home devices for example. Any functions or apps I’m overlooking, or maybe tips/workarounds to achieve this effect?

Otherwise I’ll just upload and cast files fro the web but hoping to find a local solution.

I have Synology NAS and have searched far and wide, but have not found a good solution for casting local mp3 files to Google Home devices.

I use Plex App voor Homey | Homey and have installed Plex on my Synology. That works for me. My daughter starts her music by putting the NFC stickers on CD cases on top of Homey. I know this isn’t the same as using MP3 files stored on Homey itself, but might suit your needs.
