[APP] Tuya - Smart Life. Smart Living

nevermind, i m at 1.5.2 now

tesing

still working here

2 hours without problems

No luck sadly.

I’m on 1.5.2 experimental as well now. Worked for like an hour, then my devices get disconnected again. Restarting the app bring all devices back to life for another hour or so.

hmm, strange, im now 4 hours in testing and still no problems.

going to sleep now, hope I still have lights when I wake up.

It works better than before. But not fully. Woke up with all devices not available again on version 1.5.2. But restarting the app makes it work for a while again without having to reset, repair or restart Homey.

Like others recurrence overnight but fixed with just a restart.

Thanks for working on it.

As background for people interested: Tuya tokens are valid for only two hours. The app automatically executes a refresh about 30 seconds after app start (or directly if already expired), and then starts to refresh about 10 minutes before the token expires. So if the app failed somewhere during the night, it would be interesting to know how long ago the latest app start was.

What we’ve seen at least once during testing is that the just refreshed token was directly rejected as being invalid. As you can understand, that should not happen, and might be a synchronisation issue on the Tuya servers which might actually have surfaced due to the 1.5.0 update. It does explain why a restart can resolve the issue: the previously rejected token now is accepted, or the refresh token that was also regenerated is now used to generate another token, which is accepted.

With 1.5.3 we’ve added a small backoff before retyring the original request with the refreshed token to mitigate the token synchronisation issue. Let’s see what that does!

how can i force the HP to this 1.5.3? when i look at the appstore there is still the 1.5.0 version

Install the test version:

We’ve gotten a couple responses that version 1.5.3 has indeed fixed the issues, so it has been made generally available.

Thanks!!

1.5.3 stable now for some time.

Only drop after adding the marmitek wall switch but after restart and waiting 5 minutes all seems OK again.

Devices partially working now: LED strips are controllable, however, status updates from the door sensor (and from the LED strip when controlled from the Tuya mobile app) are not coming through

Tuya | Homey

My 1.5.3 has now been working for few hours. That’s a big step. I even noticed my Homey stabilized because I had sometimes issues connecting to Homey cloud and it was very slow. I can’t say for sure if it was related to it.

I also have installed V1.5.3. When i restart the app my wall switches works great. But after a while the problem is back.

A flow can switch on or off the wall switch as a action. (As example when opening the door the doorsensor switch on the wall switch.) But when i push the button on the wall switch it turns on the lamp connected to the switch, but it doesn’t trigger the flow. So it doesn’t turn on the lamps that are not physical connected to the wall switch.
I already tried a repare with the QR-code, but problem comes back after a short while.

Version 1.5.3, hasn’t given any problems for me.

I do have one light that keeps disconnecting, but that also happens in the Tuya Local app and in the mobile app. So I guess that light is at it’s end of life (not going to investigate for 6 euro’s)

Do you also have a tuya device that must trigger a flow? And if yes, does it work? Or do you only have devices that only needs to take action by a flow?

After restarting, status updates worked again for a few minutes but now they’re not working anymore.

I’m only starting devices with a flow,
i dont have devices that start a flow, at least, i have one, but it is a device that im monitoring from a flow, so it don’t count
