did that like 3 times, but always the same error…
Re-added my car three times now in a couple of days..
@Kjetil_Vert can you please look into the issue ? let me know if any input is needed…
Me too, after 3 days I got the same error again ![]()
Data refresh: Your account credentials need to be updated. Please reconnect your Enode account in the settings.
Does anyone still have a working connection in Homey? Everytime I re-add my car, it loses connection (no updates) instantly after.
have stoped work for me aswell ![]()
When doing the connection process then I get this error
{“success”:false,“message”:“Missing: code”}
The car gets added with proper data but will not be updated after that ![]()
After the latets re-add of my car a couple of days ago, the connection now seems to work again. At least for now..
Since re-adding the car after the last update (1.2.61, Mar 15, 2026) I have had no problems anymore. It seems the ‘credentials need to be updated‘ problem is solved.
Hi! The information
When i add my Xpeng I can read all the variables from the vehicle in Homey, but it cannot make the charging start or stop. When I try to add my Xpeng I can see the message {“success”:false,“message”:“Missing: code”} in the authorization session, when I come back to the Homey configuration site it says that it’s successful, but again - it cannot start or stop the charging, it’s “read only”.
Same for me. „Something went wrong". Can’t do anything about it.
Any fix soon?
Car shows in homey bit doesn’t update position or any info.

Big Update for the XPENG Car app — charging fixes, better reliability + an important note about capacity
Hi everyone! ![]()
I’ve just pushed a major update that fixes several issues people have reported, and I want to be fully transparent about one limitation that’s been causing trouble behind the scenes. Please read the second part — it explains why some of you couldn’t connect your car.
What’s fixed in this update
- Start/Stop charging now works. Some of you could see all your car’s data but the charging buttons did nothing — it behaved “read only.” That’s fixed: commands now reach your car correctly.
- Cars that showed up but never updated. A number of cars appeared in Homey but the battery, location, etc. never refreshed. This happened to people whose car had been re-connected at some point. Fixed — your data updates again, and existing cars now repair themselves automatically.
- Fewer duplicate & ghost connections. The app now keeps a single, stable connection per car and automatically cleans up old leftover ones when you reconnect. This keeps things tidy and frees up space (more on that below).
- Widget fix. The dashboard widget had an error on start-up that’s now resolved.
What you should do: just update the app. If a car still looks stuck, open it and use Repair once — it’ll re-sync onto the right connection.
The important part: why there’s a 125-car limit
The app talks to your XPENG through a connection service called Enode (it’s the bridge between Homey and XPENG’s servers). On the current plan, that service has a hard limit:
The app can connect a maximum of 125 cars — in total, shared across everyone who uses the app worldwide.
Think of it like a car park with 125 spaces shared by all residents
. It doesn’t matter that you only have one car — once all 125 spaces are taken, the next person who tries to connect simply can’t get in until a space frees up. That’s why some people hit a wall when adding their car: the spaces were full, not because anything was broken on their end.
Why not just make it bigger?
Removing this cap means moving to Enode’s paid/business plan, which carries a significant ongoing monthly cost. For a free community app, that’s not something I can simply switch on right now.
What I’ve done to help in the meantime
- I cleaned out a pile of duplicate and abandoned connections (cars that were linked multiple times, or left behind by people who stopped using the app) — that freed up real spaces.
- The app now avoids creating duplicates going forward and auto-cleans old connections when you reconnect.
How you can help keep spaces free
- If you stop using the app or sell your car, remove the device in Homey. That releases your space for someone else.
- Don’t link the same car multiple times — one connection is all you need.
Looking ahead
I’m keeping an eye on capacity and will explore longer-term options (including what a paid plan would take) if demand keeps growing. For now, thanks for your patience — and a big thank-you to everyone who reported the charging and data issues. Your reports are exactly what made these fixes possible. ![]()

Awesome work @Kjetil_Vert!!
REALLY appreciated! ![]()
I had my car connected (Toyota BZ4X) as an XPENG Car.
With the latest App update I deleted my car and wanted to reconnect, but somehow XPENG login doesn’t recognize it anymore: No such email/password
Any clue anybody??
