This is fast becoming one of my very favourite apps… outstanding work good sir
This sounds particularly exciting ![]()
This is an impressive piece of work - and already so mature on first publication.
I love the styling - nicely done!
I cannot seem to figure out how the electricity price is there; I’m using a dynamic tariff, but it is not set-up on Homey so it wouldn’t know about it. Yet, a price is displayed (apparently without taxes if I read the chart and the numbers correctly). I personally prefer prices with taxes so I know what it will actually cost me. If I can already understand how it gets its prices I would be very happy.
Can’t wait to see more widgets - keep up the good work ![]()
Homey automatically fetches hourly spot prices based on your location - even when you haven’t set anything up.
Option to turn on tax and tariffs in the widget ready for version 0.9.0 ![]()
I’ve found the problem. No image information is showing up for my Aqara webcams, whereas it does appear for another camera. See the bold text.
So, it’s not picking up the images from the Aqara cameras “Momentopname” ![]()

I have a quick question about the new update (version 0.8.0). I notice there is an option for a price badge. It displays the current price. Am I right in thinking this is the price excluding tax and purchasing fees?
And is it possible to change the setting to “next 15 minutes” instead of “next hour”?
The badge currently shows a price of €0.17, but for me, it is €0.31 (for the 13:00–13:15 slot). There is a discrepancy there. Is there somewhere I can adjust this?
*translate with google, sorry
I have seen your answer already, sorry ![]()
Homey automatically retrieves hourly spot prices based on your location—even if you haven’t configured anything. Option to enable taxes and tariffs in the widget, ready for version 0.9.0 ![]()
@ThomasRS Wow! Just one word! WOW!
Thanks!
Hi Thomas,
I’ve seen version 0.8.0 has gone live now, which is awesome!
I have been loving using your widgets all over my various dashboards on my iPhone, and a couple of Android tablets I have set up as status and control panels… the Flow changed colours are amazeballs, and elevated my Dashboards. Thank you ![]()
Do you have any idea yet when version 0.9.0 will be heading to the test channel? I’m excited to see what you have cooked up in store for us next ![]()
I have an initial response back from Athom.
They confirmed that indeed the blinds icon is the only icon used for both blinds, curtains or any other kind of window coverings.
Regarding the inconsistencies in icons and states between the mobile and web app, they need to further investigate. I had to perform additional tests and provide extra info for that.
It’ll be up within an hour or so ![]()
You good sir
have made my day
Thank you!
Widgetkeeper 0.8.0 is live and 0.9.0 is now in testing
Four new widgets and web dashboards. Try them in the test version: Widgetkeeper | Homey
Smart Stack
Several widgets in the space of one, like a Smart Stack on a phone. Set up a dashboard with the widgets to rotate, then pick it in the stack. It turns every 30 seconds, and brings a widget forward while something happens on it: music plays, a timer runs, a camera sees someone, a door is open. A Flow card can bring one forward too.

Curtains
Tap a tile to open or close a curtain or blind, the way it used to work in Homey. The label in the corner always says which it will do, and the slider sets anything in between.

Media
One speaker as a card, with mute, a volume that never overshoots or passes your maximum, and TV instead of old album art. Tap the name to switch speaker. Up to four buttons run the speaker’s own actions (such as Set source to TV) or flows.

Clock
The time and the date, with the weather now and today’s high and low.
Web dashboards
Your Widgetkeeper widgets in any browser on your home network: a wall tablet, an old iPad, a computer or a TV. Build the dashboards on the page itself, with the same settings and live updates as on Homey. Turn them on under Apps → Widgetkeeper → Configure; the page asks for a Homey API key, and optionally a password.
The web dashboards in a browser: a dashboard, the front page and the editor. Swipe through them:
Also new
- Electricity prices include the tariffs and taxes from Homey Energy, so they match Homey’s Energy tab.
- Price Badge: a new look, with the coming hours as bars.
- Your own names for tiles, rows and buttons.
- A compact layout for Electricity Overview and Thermostat Shortcuts.
- Sparklines: 2, 3 and 5 day spans. Cameras with only a video stream (such as Aqara) show a still from it.

Especially useful to hear
- Smart Stack on Android: does swiping work, or only the dots?
- Media: the source buttons and album art with your speakers.
- Web dashboards on a tablet, an iPad or a TV browser.
- Aqara and other cameras can you now see snapshots (they’re created by the widget)
Thanks for all the feedback so far ![]()
Again a great update
!
Regarding the Device Values widget: would it be possible to have the widget/value name box increase its height when the (custom) value name does not fit on a single row?
Possibly. I don’t really like the idea of widgets changing height though. So would rather find a way to make it fit
Do you have some example values?
I understand. And your current design is very slick… ![]()
I monitor a number of timers. The ones with a relative long friendly name are (in Dutch, but hopefully you get the idea):
- Lage aanvoertemperatuur
- Koelen via balkon mogelijk
- Koelen via balkon niet meer mogelijk
Even abbreviating certain words does not always reduce the size enough:
I am going to check if I can replace some words with emoticons to reduce the size, but ideally I want to use normal words.
Hence the suggestion to use two text rows for the name. I assume that - for aesthetics - the neighboring tiles in the Device Value widget would also need to increase in size to keep a consistent look per row of values.
Another question: would it be possible to add a widget that only acts as a spacer, without any formatting? So just a blank space of which you can configure the height/number of pixels.
Use case: widgets (in general, not yours specifically) don’t have an equal size. Sometimes I just want to align different widget in a multi-column dashboard. Using a ‘blank space’-widget, would allow alignment of those widgets. So that they align at the top or bottom.
Widget “vertical spacer” is available in Widgey app already but it would be ok to have it in Widgetkeeper. I am using Widgey because of it has the spacer.
I know, I am using that app also currently
. Just like you only for the spacer. I am trying to replace various widget apps with the Widgetkeeper app.
Another suggestion
: When combining a selection of lights in a group, using the Light Controls widget, the default name of the group is the room’s name. Would it be possible to set a custom name for the group?
Tried the camera widget. Couldn‘t add a Foscam camera. It did not appear on the list to be selected. Edimax ones and Raspi ones yes.
What is needed to get the Foscam on to work?
Love the new curtain/blind widget. My blinds are vertical so 0% is fully closed one way, 50% fully open and 100% fully closed in the opposite direction.
Is it possible to have support for vertical blinds?
Thanks
