[APP][Pro] WhatsApp - Simple. Reliable. Private

Hi Martijn, messages are reported correctly in the latest version, but images are not transferred to Whatsapp. Possibly a pending issue ? (v1.38.6 on Homey 2016)

I did update the app. Now i can add a Whatsapp device. I can sent a text message to myself.
When i try to send a picture is does sent it but i don’t receive it.

I did not install Beta version v12.9.0-rc.4 jet.

The update to v1.38.6 works for me thnx

App is up to date, new device added, but it still doesn’t work. Do I have to reinstall?

Don’t have much time, only some in the early morning, so my reactions could be a bit late sometimes.

Thé problÚme os similair for me. Messages alone are sent and received by the recipient but messages with image are sent via Homey but are not received by the recipient.

:triangular_flag: I made some custom modifications to the SDK a while ago. Today I synced with the latest version of the SDK, which overwrote my custom changes. Since I’m already running the Homey experimental version with Node.js 22, I didn’t encounter this error myself.

    More - apps - WhatsApp - settings wheel right top - send diagnostic report (put your email in the input field to make it easier)

  2. :laptop: Via Homey Webapp:
    Settings wheel bottom left - Select WhatsApp - Click on send diagnostic report


You can install this version by clicking the link above and press install (do not remove the app, only press install)

Short question: Sometimes after a new version (like last night/this morning), the app just disappears in Homey—only the broken devices and empty flow cards are left. What can I do then without deleting everything, reinstalling, creating new devices, and going through each of the 100 flows to reintegrate again? Booting didn’t helped..

@Stefan_1 best thing to do is go to the app page of the app and press install then it should install again

Next to that also good to ask athom support as this is wrong behaviour of course

@martijnpoppen Just tried version 1.38.7 and sending a image is working now.
The same flow as before is working now.

@martijnpoppen Just send my first image with succes, but with another number. Now i’ll have to remove or repair the original. Will give feedback later.

Edit: had to restart the app. It works fine now!
Only ‘token’ is still there. But, who cares :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
