When filling out the proposed code, WA is connecting. But Homey stays on the black screen with the code. Not confirming it is connected and a new device is not added to Homey. What am I doing wrong?

@Yvo Probably using the mobile app?

@Tiengemeten can you try to repair your Whatsapp in Homey? In webapp right mouse click → repair.

Looks like your instance is not connected properly to WA.

Now I get a new error: “Network request failed”

The app itself however says: everything is alright, but the device cannot be used (Dit apparaat werkt prima maar kan niet worden bediend).

Already discussed on Facebook, but also useful to report here. It is currently not possible to link a WhatsApp account with a +3197#### number. Martijn is aware.

Is it right when you send an message with image it took sometime to send?

@Mark1541 yep its downloading the image first

Just tried adding my wife’s number as well as my extra number. (Can add up to two numbers I saw)
However, it goes wrong, after entering the number the screen remains on add for a long time (40 seconds or so) then comes up with wharsapp to add and continues immediately (without asking for a code) and has added a device that does not work .

We are talking about version 1.16.1

restart the app before pairing. That was the solution for me

I did that, restarting the app and Homey.
