@Ad_van_Liempt see above
1.16.2 should fix that weird behaviour again
Hey @martijnpoppen RAM usage is very much the same, around 40MB, CPU spikes from time to time but overall fine. Thanks so much, this is amazing!
Out of curiosity, would it be technically possible to have it the other way around? Like not destroying the client all the time, keeping it open to be able to receive messages? And the messages can be stored in variables? Would mean it would be possible to remotely control homey via WhatsApp (how cool would that be)?
@Flyto nice !: D
Yes it is technically possible, but it will keep your Whatsapp online all the time. So no notifications. on your phone or whatsapp web as Homey reads them first.
So i removed that functionality, but maybe i can add it at a later stage, but have to think trough how i want to do this ![]()

But that would only be the case if you use our own number right? Not when you have a separate (prepaid) number just for homey?
Got it, would it be possible to simply enable it back via a settings-option? Because for everyone using a WhatsApp business account with a different phone number itâs irrelevant no?
Hmm
Is there a way to makenthat quicker because with telegram I recieved it instant
And not all images work
Example snapshots from my cam(upload://7FIH25mj9hGLdnGrUSTIUzKivf3.jpeg)
]
@Mark1541 if it could be quicker i would have implemented that ![]()
Maybe now itâs running locally it might be a bit quicker
Keep in mind that Telegram has a offical API and Whatsapp doesnât ![]()
are the snapshots pushed as a token or how do you do that?
@Flyto not for everyone, I use a dual sim and mis-used my small business number as a whatsapp bot now. But the number is in use
But a option via the settings would be possible yes. Maybe even via a FlowCard
Correct
But it should explain it to people. Not everybody is using a extra number
Makes sense, but having a settings option might be very easy to implement and everyone can device how they want it, or as you say, the ability to enable and disable the option with flowcards (e.g., keep the line open for 30 seconds after a message has been sent)
Recieving a notification via WhatsApp and being able to take action right away would be insanely awesome
It remains a strange story, just connected my wifeâs iPhone without any problems. Vodfoneâs prepaid keeps trying endlessly but fails. What is also strange is that even though the code has been entered correctly, it says âincorrect codeâ twice, while I am not 100 but 200% sure that the code is correct. And if I do the same in a normal browser, it connects immediately.
Or it depends on the prepaid number, but why does it do it in the browser?
I agree @Flyto.
Will check this soon ![]()
@Ad_van_Liempt somehow the Homey app doesnât want to connect while the webapp does. I have to check that
As snapshot tag select the tag from my dahua can
@Mark1541 strange. Can you try if that works when you a a delay between the snapshot and sending the whatsapp image. Not ideal but just to verify
Itâs related with WhatsApp because with honey self or telegram the snapshot is working fine
