Oh wow! Did you find a fix or will this be a gamble and probably crash my homey?:joy:

I am now working with 1.14.4 test version after sending a message did not work just after the update. Now with this version he sends alternately. One works, the other doesn’t.

Yes… but when just using the Homey App on the phone it got stuck on the 8 digit code diplay…

Just tested test flow: both individual number and group link work: nice work! :slight_smile:

@Ollem I head somebody else as well about that.
Which Homey HP19 or HP23?

Both… same issue: the Homey app keeps displaying the 8 digit code. When trying to remove it it will stop the installation process.

When using the Homey Web App, the 8 digit code page closes automatically when entering the 8 digits in WhatsApp on the phone (iPhone), and the “New [WhatsApp] Device found” page is properly displayed.

Did the latest update, but the flows stopped working with Error 502 and when I try to repair/add new device it gets stuck on the screen with the phone number (+43)

Ah! Got it, everything works great; RAM Usage is around 55-60MB
So will it be local by default now? I will report back about stability and long-term RAM usage

@Flyto if this version stays stable then YES.
I would love to remove that server :slight_smile:

Ok I will give an Update in the evening
One bug remains: Group messages still show up as “waiting for message”

Edit: I can read the messages on web.whatsapp but not on my mobile apps

I’ve got the same problem with WhatsApp group messages.
This might be linked to usage of WhatsApp business…?
I don’t see share link option in the WhatsApp business app, only in the regular version.
The error message mentions issue might be due to due to older version or fact app needs to be online

It does work in the WhatsApp desktop for me too. Weird…

@Ollem yes whatsapp web has it. But not sure for mobile app i think it does. But you need to be admin

WA Business iOS App has the same functionality regarding groups as the regular one so you can also share links to groups. But you need to be an admin to share the link of course…

I used a regular whatsapp Account yesterday and encountered the same issue with the group messages.
Maybe a potential reason might be that the client gets destroyed before it can exchange encryption keys so the origin of the messages cannot be properly verified?

however, its very confusing that the messages are readable in the web/desktop-app, that would mean encription works differently?

@Flyto yeah destroying of the client might be that issue indeed. Will look into it.
But first i’ll focus on this local whatsapp thingy and then fixing from there :slight_smile:

I swapped all and can confirm group link has indeed the same ‘waiting message’ issue with regular whatsapp acount.
So it’s not an Whatsapp business issue.
