[APP][Pro] WhatsApp - Simple. Reliable. Private

Yesterday I had also redoing it.
The problem is that the notificatie is in a short time on top.
You have look then further under the open screens.

@Patrick_Van_Deursen nice that it works again. Yes trough the mobile app gives issues I never found why that is

My WhatsApp stopped working today. Could not get the device to work again. Tried to un-install / Install but it is not possible to create a device (dialog hangs).

Please advice.

Hi, I was using the Webapp (through Safari). Switched to Chrome and it worked. Thanks for the advice. Still unclear why the app stopped working in the first place…

hi, maybe a stupid question, but since I linked WhatsApp with homey, my status remains online (I see on my wife’s phone ;)) that is why I no longer receive any notifications on my phone for incoming messages. did I do something wrong?

@Rick_Snijders sending a message from Homey should invalidate that.

Sometimes it can get stuck unfortunately.

Can’t enter code on iPhone. when got add devise I get the notification in WhatsApp but I can’t enter the code I don’t get a keyboard on my iPhone to input it.

@eddiebullman Can’t help with that. That’s a WhatsApp IOS issue and not related to this app. So best to file a issue at WhatsApp

I try to trigger several Actions via Whatsapp. Right now i use ā€œIf new message is recievedā€ as a trigger. For example the Text ist ā€œHeating onā€ā€¦

Problem is, that every time someone texts me ā€œHeating onā€, the action will trigger. Is there a possibilty, that the Action only triggers if the Text ā€œHeating onā€ is send to a specific Group?

You can filter on group message and a specific number but it’s not possible to get which group

So you could narrow it down a bit but not completely

I did everything as described… And that went well, but I can’t create flows. Because when I look for flows they are not there at all. Do you have any idea?

What I mean is…
I installed the app on my Homey Pro. Then registered as a device. But when I wanted to create my flows, the Whatapp app was not in the list that I could choose from. It looked like it wasn’t installed… But I did register it as a device. Do you have any idea?

@PHEM_van_Oostrom no no idea. Maybe restart Homey? I can’t infuence the install process, that’s Homey itself

Does anyone still got the WhatsApp homey app working? I see a red exclamation mark and restart doesn’t work. Also attatching a new phone number only result in a never ending rotating circle.

@Pieter_Pessers already tried a repair? Also repairing or pairing via the Homey webapp most of the time works better than via mobile :slight_smile:
