Temperature are still alive in app but not motion alarm. Not updated in app nor as triggers in flows. Red led in motion devices indicate motion.
In total 6 devices, 4 motion- and 2 garage door-sensors stopped working 23 days ago.
Can it be related to Fw update 13.0.0?
Best regards Per

@Per_Larsson can you check the version above and if it doesn’t work send me a new report?
Hello Martijn
Yes. Tested two motion sensors that now trigger their flows properly
and the other incl. garage door sensors show last alarm only a couple hours ago. So it seems to work now.
Thank you

Is this correct? @martijnpoppen
Subject: ZD2105US-5 — Pairs successfully but interview never completes, all capabilities null, zw_secure always “No”
Hi @martijnpoppen,
I’m having a persistent issue pairing a Vision Security ZD2105US-5 recessed door/window sensor to Homey Pro (Early 2023) running the latest firmware. The Vision Security app is version 2.10.0.
Hardware:
- Device: Vision Security ZD2105US-5 (recessed door/window sensor)
- Hub: Homey Pro Early 2023 (firmware current)
- Vision Security app: 2.10.0
- Z-Wave region: United States of America - 908.4 MHz / 916 MHz
What happens during pairing: The two-step pairing wizard runs. Step 1 (exclusion pass) completes. Step 2 (inclusion) progresses to “Interviewing device” and reaches 100%, then the app shows “Connecting” and either fails or completes with the device added. It took approximately 10 attempts before the device was accepted. The device has no accessible program switch — the only user input is the tamper/cover switch, which wakes the device for 10 seconds when opened.
What the device looks like after pairing in Developer Tools → Devices:
- Driver:
homey:app:com.visionsecurity:ZD2105
- Ready: Yes
- Available: Yes
zw_node_id: 21 (was 20 on previous pairing attempt)
zw_secure: “No” — every single pairing attempt results in unsecured inclusion
zw_firmware_id: empty string ""
zw_device_class_generic: GENERIC_TYPE_SENSOR_NOTIFICATION
What the device looks like in Developer Tools → Z-Wave:
- Route: Prev. last working route (never establishes a live route)
- Flags: Offline, Unreachable immediately after pairing
- Tx Error rate: 12%
- Rx: 60 (device has communicated, but no capability data received)
Capability states via MCP/API — all permanently null:
alarm_contact: null
alarm_tamper: null
measure_battery: null
These have never received a value across multiple pairing attempts. The device is sitting in Homey with no data at all.
What I have tried:
- Paired the device 3+ inches (under 10cm) from Homey — same result
- Factory reset between every pairing attempt (cover open + reed switch 5x in 10 seconds)
- Kept cover open continuously throughout the entire pairing process to keep device awake
- Ran Update Route and Test after pairing — device shows Unreachable
- Confirmed Vision Security app is version 2.10.0 (updated before latest attempts)
- Verified the device wakes correctly — LED goes red for 10 seconds on cover open, and flashes red on door open/close when cover is closed — the hardware is working
Key observation: The device consistently pairs unsecured (zw_secure: "No"). The S2 security handshake appears to time out every time during the interview, resulting in an unsecured fallback inclusion. The 10-second wake window from the cover switch appears to be too short for the full S2 negotiation + association group setup to complete.
With cover closed, opening and closing the door causes the LED to flash — the reed switch is working. But none of this activity ever registers in Homey.
I have sent a diagnostic report. My email is in the report field.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
