I didn’t see a device called “1-Button Wireless Scene Switch (Battery)“ as your notes suggested so I tried to install it via the “Scene Switch” device.
Also, as per your notes I tried adding the motion sensor via the “motion_temp_humidity_illumination_multi_battery“ device but as I mentioned above, no luck.
yes “en”: “CRITICAL SDK3 FIX: IAS Zone enrollment completely rewritten using correct Homey SDK3 API. Motion sensors and SOS buttons now work properly. Fixed writeAttributes method for iasCIEAddress. Resolves all IAS Zone enrollment failures.”
CRITICAL IAS ZONE FIX: Fixed Homey IEEE address retrieval for SDK3 - Motion sensors and SOS buttons now properly enroll and trigger. Uses zclNode.bridgeId instead of deprecated this.homey.zigbee.ieee. Peter’s diagnostics b93c400b & 85ffbcee resolved
Happy to do this although I’m not sure how to do it. Is this different to the interview I already sent through on the github request? I should probably also wait until you’ve fixed the temp humidity sensor driver because that’s the one you told me it should work under and currently that device has a red error triangle on it.
Hi Luca, Dylan is very busy programming it’s a difficult job because of all the white label device’s to get everything working flawless, he added my multi sensor and 3 function’s are working very well he is now trying to get the motion part working and My SOS Buttons.
Thank you for your kind reply. It’s encouraging to hear that thanks to Dylan’s commitment, progress is being made. Still, I believe that at this point, it would only be fair if someone else offered to help him I’ve seen that he’s basically doing everything on his own, and I don’t think that’s right. I’m not a programmer, but if I were, instead of complaining about the lack of support for Tuya devices (at least the Zigbee ones), I’d roll up my sleeves and contribute.
Also, Athom’s silence is quite embarrassing, I simply can’t and don’t want to believe that a company now owned by a giant like LG isn’t capable of coding an app for these Tuya devices, while other volunteer communities (like HA) have managed to do so without any issue.
Sorry for the rant, but there are some things I just can’t understand…
Luca I agree with you that Athom who’s selling the hardware should also provide the software for all the devices or at least pay a certain fee to the software developpers because they spend an awful lot of time to get everything working.
I admire their drive and if I could program I would help them with it, now I can only contribute with testing and reporting the error’s.
