Hello,
can anyone build in Lidl Silvercrest Smart Kitchen Tools?
Maybee someone have one of this genius gadgets;
Coffeemaker Silvercrest Kaffeemaschine Smart »SKMS 900 A1«
Waterkettle Silvercrest SWS 3000 A1
Airfryer Silvercrest Heißluftfritteuse XL 5,5L Smart

This items are Tuya controlled. I want control it too with Homey Web App on Desktop.

Sorry, my english is not so good for communication. °¿^

You can control those devices with this app using tap-to-run and/or RAW commands, like explained in post Nº 1 of this topic.

Too bad!

Hi all!
I’m still getting the “Please configure the app first” error. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? I have searched up previous threads to confirm the following:
Configuration page set up as shown in #1

official only, country code matching to the correct data centre (I can see all my 11 devices on tuya dev platform). Log in details are correct I am not getting error 1106. All required APIs are authorized. And the project was created only this year.

Hi Jasper, and welcome,

What’s your international phone prefix? Is it +65?
65 (Singapore) is supposed to use Central Europe Data Center (just to make sure)
https://developer.tuya.com/en/docs/iot/oem-app-data-center-distributed?id=Kafi0ku9l07qb#title-4-Central%20Europe%20Data%20Center

1106 is an authorisation issue.
Make sure the 1st letter of username or password didn’t get auto-capitalised, and check for hidden leading / trailing whitespaces.

If it doesn’t fix it, try changing the password of the Tuya Smart phone app account,
(Note: you should (have) create(d) an account, do not use the “sign in with google” crap please!)
and then change it in the Tuya Cloud app settings as well:

And appearantly the “old” API still works?

Hello,
since today Tuya Cloud App didn’t work. My Tuya devices was error marked. I erase them und try to add the devices. Tuya find no devices, the message “Please configure the app first” was showing. I reboot the app sometimes. My setttings are ok, no errorcode.

*Has been resolved, i must renewing my tuya service (after one month, I believe after 6 months, Iconfigute this now). It’s running again.

I have got the app to work and some devices too. Unfortunate the garagedoor sensor has the class “sensor” instead of “garagedoor” too bad because homekitty will not pass it on as a garagedoor to HomeKit now. I found a bypass by installing Tuya on my homebridge (on Synology nas) and adding the device there so now it shows up in CarPlay and other Apple devices as a Garagedoor  if anyone knows another way around this within Homey please let me know

Please try to stick to English. It will help in getting responses too

You can use an (advanced) virtual device with class garagedoor_closed (All capabilities here).
Have it turned on and off by triggers “garage door was opened” and “-closed” flows.
You can use RAW Commands (see post # 1 for the how-to) when those flow triggers aren’t available.

Thanks for the reply, seems a bit complicated to do all that, and if that would work then the question remains I if HomeKitty will pass it on as a garagedoor including the open/closed status …

YW!

Don’t buy Tuya stuff!

I still don’t get why a garage door gets added as a sensor.
Can you please show me the lower half of this screen below, I’d like to view the capabilities it"s using:

HomeKit(ty) Test:

It’s not too difficult, I hope, to test if it gets published by HomeKitty in the first place:

  1. Install Device Capabilities

  2. Add an Advanced virtual device

  3. Choose “… empty AVD”

  4. Next, go to “Repair”, or “Maintenance” > “Try to repair”
This opens up an advanced settings screen

  5. Now re-create these settings:

  6. Tap “Save” and then “Close”

  7. Now it should get published by HomeKitty (no clue, maybe you have to select the devices you want published?); and maybe the Device Capabilities app needs a restart first

  8. When you operate the device (turn on/off), the virtual garage door should show opened and closed statusses in Homekit.

If it succeeds, don’t delete this device. I can help you with the flows to control the virtual garage door.

I will try and report back, thsnks!

See here the capability, I didn’t have time for the other stuff yet…

Thanks.
Yup, these are correct.

It’s just wrong the device got added with the device class sensor.

Maybe remove and add it again helps?

Maybe because the device is in the Sensors category in the homey Tuya app? I have not tried the other Tuya (lan) app because it didn’t state it has support for it.

That’s (one of) the problem(s). It needs to be fixed in the code. When you know someone with the skills for it…

I bought a contact sensor from Uncle Ali…

But it doesn’t seem to work with homey.
I read that the developer stopped working on the app?

How can I get this sensor to work?
