how do you get the names given to populate or do you need to do it manually?
Let me know which devices and which names do you get. It should use the name you have defined already or fail over to alias, but depends on device types. Do you have any particular need?
I have about 100 switches between hs100 200 and 230. All show the same as attached just āsmart wifi light switchā
Let me know your help is appreciated as it would be alot of manual entry lol.
Can you add one or two and send me diag. report RIGHT after ? I will have a look. Maybe you see just part of the nameā¦

Same thing I deleted and re installed and during the process I attached below what I see and so thr most recent log as per your request.
Thanks.
You did not install latest test version I publishedā¦
You are on version v0.2.38 but latest / fixed version is v0.2.39, please update and test again.
IT WORKED!!! thank you so much!!!
I have identified some minor bugs, unhandled exceptions and overall not optimal approach for handlich some situations and addressed them in the TEST version.
You are WELCOME to keep testing beta versions and provide feedback to me, if you see any negative-positive experience. In case of negative experience, you can always revert to stable version until the stable will get replaced by the final test version.
Iām having trouble getting HS200 switches using HW version 5.26 to work. All the HS200 using HW 5.0 work fine, but 5.26 keeps giving me a ECONNREFUSED error.
Just based on quick check, seems itās not supported by current API this integration is using and the developer did not comment on this issue for last 6 months, this is new device type requiring authentication.
I have a handful of Kasa Switches KS205s and KS 225s. Any luck that support for this line might make it into the app for support? I did make a request of the official app, but guessing that will take some time.
The official app might be the fastest, as itās cloud based and basically unifying the integration approach for every new device (in general). This local integration however relies on API provided by external library and itās developer is not contributing visibly on GitHUB for some time already (unknown reason unfortunately) and frankly I lack skills to do it on his behalf. For those devices additional authentication is required, which is not implemented on API level
Btw those are matter switches, why you donāt connect them using this protocol ?
Thanks Sharkys, I tried using Matter the other day and it didnāt play nice. Today I got two of them to work, one of both models. So Iāll go finish up with them.
Hopefully they do add app support via the official app as I am guessing they allow for a little more functionality. But happy to have these in Homey now.
Thanks
Brand new Homey Pro user here (thanks LTT and Black Friday sales). Iāve got 8 plugs and 7 switches added in the KASA app on iPhone. I added the official TP-LINK Kasa Smart app but it only discovered 3 of my 7 switches and 3 of my 8 plugs. All the plugs and switches missing are the same model as ones that imported correctly.
I tried the Kasa LAN version of the app and added the devices via IP address. That worked for the plugs, but the switches get a ECONNREFUSED error when I try and turn them on.
Any ideas? Switches are HS200 and HS210
Edit
Iāve been able to get the HS210 working using the Kasa LAN app. Iāve also discovered that the HS200 switches that were discovered in the TP-LINK Kasa Smart app are all HW Version 5.0 and have very limited device info in the Kasa iPhone app. The switches that will NOT work are all HW version 5.26 and have a LOT more info in the device info page in the Kasa app on iPhone. All devices are firmware updated and working just fine using the iPhone Kasa app. Still canāt get them added in either Homey Kasa app.
For the non-LAN Kasa issues, please report to homey.app/support (as mentioned @ homey.app store page)
I have new HS220 Dimmer switch. It is added to the Kasa app (Android). I tried the official Kasa app but it would not find the switch so I tried this. It connects as long as I use the IP address (I set the switch to Static IP). But when I try to control it I get the āConnect ECONREFUSEDā error.
You might have same issue as discussed literally few messages above.
