As said before, a new Tesla Homey app is in work. It will use the Fleet-API with end-2-end-encrypted commands that is needed from 2024.

You can still be a beta tester.

Hi,

iā€™m an happy user of this app.
I just noticed, while building a flow, that some italian translations are missing and iā€™d like to contribute.

Here is what iā€™m referring to

Basically, capacitĆ  and unitĆ  doesnā€™t have a corresponding translation in italian so the variable is shown.

How can we fix it?

Without checking the code I would say that are missing texts in Homey capabilities.
The app itself has only english language.

It this the battery measurement?
HomeyPro19 or HomeyPro23?

I anyway opened a support ticket to Athom.
This problem goes away when i switch Homey to any other language, including english.

It seems that they are missing some translations in the italian language.

There is also a new community thread for questions and discussions about the new app.

Some hints for users of the current app:

  • The new app has different ID. You can install parallel to your current app.
  • This way you can add your car and migrate your flows.
  • Some values/flows will be different. Please ask in the new thread if something is missing or if you have suggestions
  • The new app has no charge plans (smart charging) implemented. It just represents the car. Please use flows to control car charging and use external trigger (like Tibber or own plans/flows) for dynamic changing.
  • The ā€œoldā€ app wonā€™t be maintained. If Tesla stops API support It wonā€™t work anymore. In best case, only commands will stop working.
