[APP][Pro] Tesla Smart Charger

Thanks,

I’ve been playing around with logic. I can only get current charging power in watts, not in Ampere. So I tried calculating it to ampere like this: {{ < charge power > / 230 / 3 }} and it gives me a value like 9.72395463. I want to round it up to 10, but I can’t get rounding to work.

Another thread mentions I can use this: {{round(number(<variable/tag)/254,2)}} but I can’t get it to work.

Can someone help me out or is there a way to get current Ampere value out of the app?

Never mind, I got it working. I now have a working charger balancing solution!

Hi Bjørnar,

Trying to use the card: "Add current location to geofence as: … " seems to fail with an API error.

Try to repair the conection.

Hello,

Since six days the app is not getting connected to the car. I tried repairing several times, refreshed the token from the Auth for Tesla but this isn’t helping. I’m not sure what else I could do. Can someone help please?

The car version software is 2022.4.5

The homey Tesla smart charger version is 1.5.4

Restarting the app did the trick!

This was resolved when Homey updated to 7.3.0.

Another thing, with 2022.4.5.3 Tesla seems to be added tire pressure monitoring to the API if these patch notes are anything to go by. Anything you plan on adding to the app?

Hi, Yes, will try to add tire pressure.

Also maybe you can make adjustable charging rate in actions? Or make option to disable recalculation?

Yes, you can set the charging current with the "Set charging current to " action

No No. I’m talking about charging rate not about charging current.

I’ve just ordered the Homey Cloud / Bridge gateway (not the Homey Pro). Would there be any plans in supporting the Tesla App ( integration ) for the new Cloud Homey Bridge ?

Hi, I’m trying out this app for the first time. When submitting the refresh token I’m served a 500 error from https://192-168-2-209.homey.homeylocal.com/api/manager/drivers/pairsession/86b2ad86-26bd-4958-92c8-d5d509f3e1ff/emit

Is there a way to view the log files to figure out what’s happening?

I tried the app. Interesting to have status on some indicators. But impossible to charge correctly the car .
I uninstall the app and now I charge correctly without disruption or power cuts.

The app was not working anymore, so I uninstalled it and installed the latest version.
When entering the “Refresh Token” I always get the error: “Fetching tokens failed”

Any idea how to solve this?
I used Auth for Tesla to create a new Refresh Token.
Logged out and logged in again with MFA and got a token from the app.
But when pasting it into Tesla Smart Charger the error above is given.

Same issue here. Can’t get the app to work.

@awientjes @Seljebobo Yes, Tesla has made som changes to the API, and I need to update the app. But will be fixed :soon:

Any idea how soon? I’m using the app on a daily basis, but have been unable to use it lately.

Hi!

I installed software version 2022.8.3 in my car a few weeks back.
Not sure if it’s related but…

The other day I noticed that Tesla smart charger app - flows was not reacting to my car anymore.

Tried to repair the app.

Has Tesla changed something in their api again?
What can I do to get it working again?

Best regards, Johan

Getting the same issue!
