Check, so we will have to see if that additional data is there based on model
What I see in the log lines is that the charge point reports every 15 minutes (or if I click on âstatus opvragenâ). One of the data points is the energy meter value (in wh). With this the charged energy of the past ## minutes is reported en I suspect the power is calculated based on this (energy past ## minutes/##minutes).
The security part will be the challenge, do they enforce mfa? Is there a normal oauth login process behind the site and app etc
I donât have access yet to reverse engineer that part.
It is just ânormalâ username & password login. No MFA. Donât know about oauth. The app has less options and insights than the website. All is a 50five branded version of chargepoint management from last mile solutions.
Maybe you can find some info on that already?
These are the partners : Last Mile Solutions app - Last Mile Solutions
Or register account on demo site (login page same as for 50five)?
Last Mile Solutions - Demo
I got the mail now.
The demo site register account still requires a banc account, trying to see if I can fake one
Just generate a random IBAN number: http://randomiban.com/
I did, but the system is not sending the confirmation mails, tried with 3 different mail domains ![]()
Ok, I tried also, same here (gmail) ![]()
I hope I get access before my holiday, else it is going to take more time
how long did it take for your announcement mail till the welkm mail?
After 2 days the chargepoint was migrated and 2 days after that we received the welcome mail.
Yesterday I also received the mail that I will be migrated âsomewhere in Julyâ.
Letâs hope for the best! Fortunately, I can control charging through the car
I got migrated today, point went offline and I got the mail at the end off the day.
Behavior of the point seems different (need to unplug before I can swipe again) but my card is not properly migrated, also can not add it. Two test charge session showed little details while active and they donât show up in the history.
I have access to the site now and itâs not good news. Apiâs are hidden behind the front end using ajax controls and Auth is also again session based.
Will be a lot of content crawling to get details ![]()
Does anyone know why this is done? Shell seems to be piggying back on their âgreenâ choices, right?
I think it is because this is a direct b2c field and they donât play in that field. Low margin low effort, not worth their attention. The fast charge system they keep I believe
Are able to start a transaction from that portal?
I am not offered any card to start a new transaction
I also do not see cards in the mobile app, only on the portal in the section autherized cards.
I also noticed that when I list my charge sessions I need to switch the filter to âyour chargepointâ from my sessions. SO it seems they consider my employer card now an external card and not MY card. Helpdesk is not getting my problem or they claim it is not a feature yet.
Update: I am making some progress, I am able to login from homey and retrieve my chargepoint list AND get details from the single point.
The data is a bit hacking since it is dirty like: status is not a field but in the event field there are value pairs that include the status. more like a message than actuall data. Feels risky from coding perspective but I thik it will be usefull.
Did not attempt to interact with the chareger yet, first get the status working into the old driver.
We also use an employer card from shell. In 50five site & app this card isnât shown in âmy cardsâ. I suppose because this isnât a 50five charge card. However I can start a charging session with it. Just fill in the card number (copy/paste from earlier charge session) in the pop-up to start a charge session. This works for me.
Nice to read you make progress. Iâm happy to do some (beta) testing.
A heads up:
I have most of the fundatmentals working at this point, including the more live current power and energy use metrics.
Still need some time to cleanup and make sure the new device wizard still works etc.
Speically the cards are a bit of a nightmare, looks like there is no api call on their side for that.
So I am getting ready for a test version to upgrade the shell recharge charge points to 50five, make sure if you are not migrated yet to NOT install that test version. The people that are migrated can try it out and see if it works. You will have to go into device settings to enter the printed card number you want to use as default card.
Still need to look at the card workflow support at this time.
I will leave on holiday so wont be able to continue for some time, but at least its clear I can get everything to work again ![]()
Thank you and enjoy your vacation!
Great, thx for your effort. I will take a look at the test version. If it doesnât work itâs no problem, at this moment I only have manual charging, so everything (in the future) will be better than that ![]()
Enjoy your holidays ![]()
