I did receive the mail, after taking same time to breathe, i started the migration. The Shell app is much slower and a bit unstable now.
But the website still works the same, and thats what I fake, so for me the Homey app still works.
That is good to read!!
I guess a restart of the new motion homey app will make the migration complete or should we stop the homey app end then logout and login on the shell smartphone app and after that start the homey app again?
For now on the website nothing changed, so there is no impact on the homey app.
So you can just do the migration in the Shell app. No need to do anything on the homey side.
The homey app logs in every couple of minutes because the token i get is very short lived. So underwater its always logging in new.
This night charging didn’t work. The charging point was in error. Red led and on website and app there was an error indication. I had to reset the charging point from within the website (or app). Twice….
Is it possible to detect in your app if the charging point is in error (app and website can). And to be able to send the reset command (as action card and from app button screen)?
Diagnostic report after this night: 853a453f-bed9-465e-84d2-1c28bbc2b1c2
Ill see if i can detect that.
So looking at your error report, there is indeed a special status for that. But it seems it also triggers the Offline alarm. That one is already supported in the app. On the sensor list there is the offline alarm and you can set it to the tile.
You can also use it in the And conditions from the boolean tag logic actions.
However I miss a trigger to start a flow based on it.
Will this work for you?
I published a new version that includes a trigger for the went offline event.
I cant really test it until it goes in error/offline mode again
Yes, I expected that offline alarm would be triggered, but that morning the offline alarm in homey app wasn’t triggered. That’s why I asked you about this other error situation.
Anyway thanx for adding the trigger. I will implement this in a flow and will keep an eye on it when the error occurs again…. ![]()
For me the app is not working anymore for a while now. Seems logging in is not possible, anyone else have this issue at the moment?
Still works for me. Did you migrate your shell recharge account using the shell recharge app fully?
So try adding the charger again, or the repair function to enter your credentials again.
The encoding of the password stops working if you change your active network adapter on the Homey (example switch between utp and wifi). The repair function allows you to re-enter it.
Also when entering the password and press login it might fail the first-second-third-… time due to some weird issue with the cookies on the website that I havent figured out entirely, so try a couple of times, generally it picks it up after a couple of tries.
Thanks! I indeed switched to UTP. It’s working again now after trying my credentials 4 times.
Yeah its one of the mysteries I still need to solve, the site often doesnt return the cookies with the token after login but sometimes it does…
Great app, worked flawless. Unfortunately recently status was not updating. Shell Recharge app/website showing status correctly.
- Tried ‘Repairing’ the Device, but cannot log in. Not after 4 attempts, not after 10 attempts, not after multiple attempts spread out over several days.
- I have reset the charger and rebooted it; same result.
- Tried to upload a Diagnostic report with explanation, but even with very limited text, I get the error: Rate limited.
-Then as last attempt, removed the Device and tried to add a new device. Cannot login.
Looks like Shell Recharge has changed something. Does anybody has any suggestion?
The API connection seems flakey. The last week or so it’s been updating off and on, sometimes not doing anything for a day and then works again, for a bit. Right now it’s been offline again for a day or so, waiting for it to come back…
Not ideal indeed
When i get back from my trip ill give it a look, had some weird behavior before I left myself.
No rush, thanks and have a good time off :)!
Enjoy the break & thx in advance!
Hi Vincent,
I am receiving the error cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘0’)
Have you seen this before?
I get the same error as Jeffrey… tried removing and re adding the device (and app) but it cannot find the connection (password is correct, tried many times on different days)… would be really great if this can be solved tinge I love the app (have a flow so it charges when the solar panels are producing). Thanks in advance
Marc
So the first analysis: They did something to secure the web site. I now get Forbidden responses if I use postman and nodejs to request te base HTML page I need to get the uniques session based information to be able to login from the app.
So indeed we are locked out for now. Need to figure out what they did.
