[APP][Pro] Shell Recharge and 50five - Smart charging at home for you electric vehicle

ok, so it seems that your wifi adapter does not expose its mac address yet to homey platform.
So when you set it up you did not join it to a wifi to finish the setup?
I did not know the hp2023 could do that.

I updated the test version with some some debuggin info, can you try again and send me a new error log? then I hope I can see what is different in your adapter list.

Nope, I did not need to in the setup and never thought of doing so as I already used the wired connection.

Installed, restarted, retried login on configure app (missing submit button), and then retried by adding the device.
This is the new diagnostic report : dd699344-86a9-4b2c-bd5d-4af0ae4bb84a

I also tried installing the latest version from Shell Recharge App for Homey | Homey.
When adding a chargepoint I get the following error: An error occured while retrieving your chargepoints. Please create an error log and send it to the developer for investigation.
Report code: c2d72bcc-c04b-4183-96e3-6151672c06a7
Homey Pro is connected with the ethernet adapter and wifi is turned off.

@smithoofd and @kevins I just published a new test version, can you give that one a try?
@smithoofd you state, you have wifi disabled, where in the settings can I do that on mine?

I have added the chargepoint successfully. While adding I got the (attached) error: null.

I have not tested thoroughly and I am not familiar with your app yet, but seems like everything works fine.

Disabling wifi can be done in the first steps of setting up the Homey Pro. You can also do this by pressing the reset button on the bottom of the Homey Pro device. See https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/7263241090716-Activating-Setup-Mode-for-Homey-Pro-Early-2023- for more information.

Hope this helps, looking forward to using your app! Thank you very much for your work on this.

@Kaoh : Logging in and adding now works like a charm. Same issue for me with the ‘null’ popup. (seems like a forgotten alert()) somewhere.

After that, adding the device seems to have worked, and I can successfully start and stop a charge session!

One thing I notice is that it seems that ‘bezet’ does not detect my car being hooked up, unless I start a charge session. And the if ‘Verbinding met connector’ also does seem to trigger in my case. Should this usually work, or should I start reading the manual?

Thanks for all your work on this!

So when you hook up, light turns green, indeed nothing is detected. Its a limitation from the charger, you can also remove the cable if it is a detachable model, so not really occupied.
When you sign on, light turns teal, its becomes locked ans occupied. When its really charging it turns dark blue, occupied and charging.
Until the charge session ends, card used or app and cable is released by the charger side, its green again. Not occupied.

Understanding that the charger does not support it helps me. Thank you! Will start building some flows coming weeks :slightly_smiling_face:

I removed that alert and finish the rebrand to shell recharge and published it to the main app.
I hope this will remain stable for some time  please shell no more api rebuilds

Anyone seen issues when trying to log in with their account (working on account.shellrecharge.com) where it immediately errors out with the following;

It never worked for me

I assume your using an older version of the app (since I changed the error message in this alert).
Please update first, the new version supprts more scenarios with the encryption system to store the password safely. But the new alert informs you that sometimes/often the website declines to provide a new token even though the login is correct. So sometimes you need to try it 2-3-4… times before the site returns a token properly. Its a backend thing they implemented sometimes ago. I did not find a stable way around it yet.

That did it; had to install the Test version instead of the stable one.

Working now, thank you sir

Thx @Kaoh for this update. Finally time to try your update (back from holiday). It works for me (after some login attempts)
In coming days I will dive into on functionality and usefulness for my charging flows.

Question about this action card:

Is my assumption correct that with this card I can manage with how much power the car charges? That would be a useful
But Because I don’t have a car defined, I cannot use this card right now. Is it possible to add an extra action card without the car selection?

No, that is not a newmotion feature. It is only used for the homey power dashboard. So that it estinates the power usage.

So it is not possible to define the charge power? I actually hoped that would be possible so that I can sync my charging speed to the excess power of my solar panels.

As far as i know thats not possible through the website either is it? Nor the mobile app.
I dont think its part of the lolo design.

Any chance we could add a “and” card that allows for checking if there is a session with card X. Right now it has to be an “active” session ie = needs to be actually charging but since I only start charging after midnight it would be great to check if the session at least has been established so that I know charging will occur at night.

Based on the information in the device it seems to be possible because I see the session in there with the right card… just cannot call onto it in a flow unless charging already started.

Appreciate your efforts!
