New version 5.5.0 is ready for testing: Power by the Hour | Homey
- Added new device type for Energy Storage Systems (Home Battery).
This update expands the functionality of PBTH especially for the Sessy Home Storage system. [APP][PRO] SESSY Thuisbatterij. It will keep track of how much energy is used by the battery, and how much money the battery has earned when used in combination with Day Ahead energy prices.
And most importantly, it adds a flowcard that calculates the best hours to charge/discharge for optimal Return On Investment! I’m especially proud of this algorithm since it took a lot of puzzling to get to this. The algorithm uses a.o. the actual SoC and all known future prices, and does a brute force calculation involving BILLIONS of possible outcomes 
It is therefore very CPU intense, so use it sparsely, like only once an hour.
