The IP address is right, AMF870/15 is indeed connected on 2.4 GHz because that’s according to the specs, and there are no firewall rules blocking traffic to Homey.
I think the timeouts may be because I have a mesh network and both devices are connected to different mesh devices. This has given problems before with a printer which I then solved by moving the printer.
I don’t know when it happened, it may have been even before I sent the report, but the AMF870/15 is now connected and accessible.
I’m also going to connect Homey through the ethernet dongle, so timeouts should be minimal from then on.
I have a Philips Ventilator cx3550 01 and would like to see this work in your app.
There is an extensive app for the home assistant and I am curious if you might be able to use that code to add multiple models. I have no knowledge of this myself, so if it isn’t possible, that’s a shame but understandable.
which seems to cause the issue because when I removed them the app stopped crashing and when I re-add them it starts again, this is the log:
f7f57a82-2849-4794-b593-b2f59de760a2
Also to note that I can read the 2x AC0951/13 values correctly from Homey but if I try to change any parameters nothing happens, and most of the times the app crashes. But it also crashes doing nothing at all randomly.
I’ve already tried removing and adding them again but no luck. Thanks for your support!
yeah total devices and which device types can influence this . the security on top of coap on philips devices is not the best. plus no fimrware updates.
think the ac3x,4x,5x devices are more expensive and have better hardware to handle these local connections.
philips app itself is using these cloud connections instead.
