Nubes (Cloud in Latin)
Most weather apps hand you a number. Nubes hands you the sky. It is a dashboard widget that fetches the latest Meteosat images from EUMETSAT’s public map service and plays them back as a loop, so instead of reading “70% cloud cover” you watch the front actually rolling in off the Atlantic.
Pick your window the whole continent, France, the British Isles, Iberia, Scandinavia, Italy and the Balkans, or a tight frame centred on your own Homey — and choose how far back to run it: one hour for a passing shower, twenty-four for the shape of the entire day.
Three views come with it. Geo Colour looks natural in daylight and still shows cloud through the night, infrared is there when you care about cloud tops, and true colour gives you the plain daytime picture. Coastlines and borders can be drawn over the top, and a small marker shows where you are plotted on the tile itself, never sent anywhere.

“Around my Homey” builds the frame around your own position rather than using a fixed box, so the marker sits dead centre whether you are in Andalusia or in Lapland.
No devices, no Flow cards
Nubes is a widget and nothing else. There is nothing to pair and nothing to wire into a Flow. If that turns out to be a shame, tell me below a “new picture available” trigger is the obvious first candidate.
No API key
The imagery comes from a public European service, EUMETView, run by EUMETSAT. The app asks it for one picture at a time and no faster than the satellites make them, which is every ten minutes. Nothing about your home leaves your Homey: the position marker is drawn on the tile itself.
This service is based on EUMETSAT Meteosat data.

Reporting a problem
Post here with your Homey firmware version, the app version, and which Area and Picture type you had selected. A screenshot of the tile helps more than a description and if the image looks stale, the widget says so in orange with its age, and that age is the useful clue.
