I have just put version 3.1.1 into testing.
This version adds the IDs of the modes and submodes in the device’s Maintenance section, making them easier to find whenever they’re needed.

Btw it seems some of the translation is still in Dutch, for example “Modussen”, “TV kijken”, “Romantisch”, “Film kijken”

Hi. The invert option is not correct for the Mode & Switch devices. I know you corrected this for Mode Controller device earlier. When I select invert on the card in the advanced flow, the invert text isn’t added making it difficult to know what is in fact configured. Thanks
Version 3.1.3 – Translation & Flow improvements
A new test version (3.1.3) is now available!
This update mainly focuses on improving translations throughout the app and fixing some Flow-related issues.

Improved consistency between English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish. -
Fixed language handling in the Appliance Monitoring widget, including labels such as History, Start and End. -
Improved translations in the Settings and Monitoring widgets. -
Fixed inverted Flow conditions for the Mode & Switch device. -
Improved Flow card translations so inverted conditions are displayed correctly in all supported languages.
Test version
Version 3.1.3 is currently available as a test version. I’ve also submitted this version for the stable channel, so hopefully it will become available to everyone soon.

I just installed you App. It seems to be realy interesting. I playd a bit around with it and I think it can replace some of my flows.
I have some multi plug device and wonder, wether it is possible to enhance your App to switch on and off single plugs. At the moment it alows only to switch the complete device on and off.

Hi Dietrich, thanks for using my app and for your interest. I can certainly look into adding support for multi‑plugs. I won’t be able to test it myself since I don’t own any, but I’ll make some time soon to work on this.

I now played a bit more with your App and tryed to eleminate some of my flows.
I use a sensor at the bathroom door to switch the light and music (Alexa) on and off. Open the door → switch on and open the door a second time → switch off. It’s like if its on then switch off and if its off thern switch on. That seems to be not possibel with your App now.
Another thing is the temperatur per modus and zone. I adjust the heating in a zone by observing open windows or balcony doors. It doesn’t matters wether I’m at home or away or on holyday. It would be good to select more then 1 modus where the rule is activ.
I know, I see a lot of potential in yor App and know it takes a lot in programming work, but I hope I can give you some points to think of.
I have one more. When I switch off one device by changeing the modus there could be another device that should not be switched off at the sametime. Like I go to bed and swith of the TV but the power to the Tv should be switched off later. That’s because some TV’s do reorganisation after you switched them off.
I hope, that was not too much of ideas. I can work around all this with flows but I realy like your atempt with this App.
Thank you for your suggestions. I’m really excited about the ideas you’ve put forward and I think they have a lot of potential.
At the same time, I believe it would be best to approach this step by step. As a first priority, we should focus on implementing support for the multi-plugs and the ability to select temperature settings for multiple modes. Once we have that in place and working well, we can move on to the next improvements.
After that, we can take a closer look at the sensors. At the moment, they essentially work as a simple open/closed trigger, for example open = light on and closed = light off, or the other way around.
Regarding your suggestion, do you mean that a device should switch off with a configurable delay after the modus change?

I’ve put a test version online. Could you please test whether you can see the multi-plugs and try linking some actions to them to verify that everything is working correctly? Could you also take a few screenshots? I’m curious to see how everything looks in the app.
I’ve also expanded the temperature settings so that you can select multiple modes at the same time. Could you test that as well and let me know if it works as expected?

Regarding your question for the 3 suggestion, yes.
I made 2 submodes, TV on and TV off. If I change to TV off the TV goes in standby mode and does some reorganisation in the background so it needs electricity. 5 or 10 minutes after I want to switch off the power line.
Hi Dietrich. I personally tested updating the main mode and sub-mode titles multiple times, and the changes were applied successfully. Did you remember to save the settings page after updating them?
Just started using this. Impressive. Took me some time to find out how it works. Because my washing machine flow was broken and could not figure out what went wrong, I found Mode Switch and that made it all super easy. Still exploring the possibilities. great work Eriik. Goed bezig
I’ve done a lot of testing. I couldn’t reproduce it before, but now I’m experiencing the exact same thing. It’s the default sub-mode—it looks like the name was changed on the settings page, but not in the widgets. I hope it gets fixed in the next update.
Hi Paul, great that you found my app and are using it! I wanted to offer a simpler way for people to monitor devices instead of having to deal with complex flows, tailored per device. Hopefully, the app will be helpful to you in other ways as well. Have fun with it!

I’ve put a new test version online, in which this issue should now be resolved. I’ve also updated a number of translations, as I had Homey set to German for a while and noticed that some text was still appearing in Dutch and English.
If everything looks good, I’ll submit this version for release. .

I think in the zones and sensors section ther should be 2 more options for lamps.
First one is to switch the on/off status of a lamp when the door sensor is aktive.
Second one is set a special color for the light.
