Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have previously read the documentation, but I found it really confusing, and could not get the ovens to work with Homey when I was following it. Specifically, the drivers, V1 vs V2 made no sense as I have not found anywhere to toggle this. When I first imported my ovens into Homey they were toggled into the control individually mode automatically, but I could absolutely not control the ovens while in this setting. I tried checking the migration status, but I couldnāt get that website to work on mobile, so I donāt know the actual status of that. I suppose they must be migrated considering I can get the ovens to work as long as I put them in continuous Comfort mode. Ideally I would love to have the ovens using the described V2 driver because it supports local API. Currently I find the control I have over the ovens really slow and inconsistent.
I“ve tried several times to add my Sockets gen 3 with Local API, but the Autoscan never finishes⦠I“ve left it for 10-15 minutes, and it hasn“t completed. I can add them with Cloud API, but would prefer to use Local.
The IP adresses of the sockets are all in the 192.168.0.xxx range, and the gateway .1, so I donĀ“t understand why theyāre not being detected⦠Any suggestions?
The same is happening for meg. I had to factory reset a non responding GEN3 heater and is unavailable to add it back with local API. Cloud API detects the heater
Have the same problem. I“m using a couple of gen3 heaters which works great. But I bought a gen3 socket yesterday and is unable to add it. The last time I added heaters you could specify IP-adress of the heater. Now its only autoscan, which is nice but I have a static IP on all heaters.
Would it be possible to readd the function to specify a heaters IP?
I have recently updated the documentation, specifying in detail the differences between the v1 and v2 drivers. Please refer to the updated documentation, and see if that resolves your issues.
The v2 driver can interact with both local and cloud APIs.
Local API: Exclusively available for Generation 3 devices, offering quicker response times and more >reliable control under certain network conditions.
Cloud API: Mandatory for Generation 1 and Generation 2 devices.

Thanks for your feedbacks! I really do appreciate it, and it helps me solve these issues faster! I have released a small bugfix update, which is aimed to fix the autoscan feature, and also the bug causing you not to be able to add your heaters by manually entering itās IP address.
Hope this update fixes your issues, and if not, let me know!
This test version works, now local IP works! I have the heater added (v3), however, controls dont do anything. I can turn on, off, change temp but on the heater it stays as is.
Update: I have found the problem, when you change IP (set static at router now) you need to re-add the device before it works Manually changing it in the homey app does not work.
Thanks for the update Codex. The wiki is clearer now. So what I did was I removed one oven from Homey. Gave it a static IP address. Then I went to add it back into Homey. I am now presented with Mill v2 as an option. When I select that I can choose between; 1) Cloud API, 2) Lokal API, and 3) Lokal API. (Yes, option 2 and 3 are identical). Choosing option 3 does nothing. No new text is shown. No options are presented. There are no buttons to press. Choosing option 2) Lokal API, I get to specify my gateway address, and then I can click Autoscan. After scanning for 1 hour, no oven was found. So I gave that up. If I choose Cloud API, the oven is added immediately. I have not been able to find anywhere to enter the oven IP address manually. What am I missing?
Thanks for the quick reply Coderax. Now everything works! Do I have to do anything special to get back to the official version of the app once that is updated as well?
If you want to stay on the test-track, you can. Though, if you prefer only getting the full releases, you should install the app from the app store again, without /test behind the url. No need to delete the app from Homey first, as long as you get the message āApp will install on Homey soonā. Not sure how Homeyās app store system works, but Iām guessing somewhere in the app metadata, it says if you prefer test or official releases.
Hi,
when I put my Mill Invisible owen gen 3 in Program mode, the app returns the wrong mode back (Comfort, and not sleep). Iāve done a diagnostic and got this for the developer: eb66fd30-b43e-4cd4-a23e-a25054e9317e
I am experiencing constant crashing of the Mill app.I have set up a flow to check if the app is responsive or not and do a reset, but at the moment I canāt get the app to function anymore
Anybody know how to solve this?
By the way experiencing exactly the same with the android TV app.
Do you still experience the same issue?
If yes, which heater model are you using and which driver (Mill or Mill v2)?
Looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards,
Iāve no such feedback from other users. Could it be something related to the Homey itself?
Can you generate a diagnostic report?
Thank you!
Best regards,
So a reset of Homey seems to solve the problem. Will add that to the flow if the Mill app crashes and see if that solves it on the longer term. If I do continue to experience crashes Iāll get back here. thanks
