I’ve connected my heatpump to Melcloud Home so I could test this for you if you want.
MELCloud Home available in testing: MELCloud & MELCloud Home | Homey
Manages air-to-air devices, except energy reporting and app settings.
WARNING: login doesn’t work from app settings (yet), only from device pairing.
Thanks a lot for this, Olivier!
Just tested it with a brand new heat pump using MELCloud Home, and ZEN works perfectly in Homey so far.
Really appreciate the effort and quick progress ![]()
What do you mean with app settings?
Some users reported the issue, it’s either a temp issue on API’s side, or a limitation of API regarding external connections.
If it’s not back in some time, I’ll need to deep dive.
Hi,
There is currently no communication at all with MELCloud home from the Homey app.
No values update and all commands fail, showing “Missing Capability Listener: target_temperature”.Homey Pro, latest versions.
Yes, the solution is not straight forward because the login handling is very complex, there might sometimes to fix at the token refresh level.
MELCloud Home implementation still in testing phase… thanks for your understanding. I’ll try to come up with a resolution next week.
Kind regards
I found the issue, fix in progress
Actually that’s the MELCloud Home web app which is down: https://melcloudhome.com
@OlivierZal Hi,
For the past few weeks, the Mel Cloud dashboard widget has not been working properly.
For example, if I click on a drop-down menu, the text overlaps, making it very difficult to select the correct setting.
Hi @Rembo038 , I’ll try to fix it
MELCloud Home should be fixed in the latest test version: MELCloud & MELCloud Home | Homey
Huge thanks @OlivierZal ![]()
Confirmed: MELCloud Home works again for me with the latest test version.
Really appreciate the quick diagnosis and fix – great support!
@OlivierZal thank you, hope you can find a fix!
@OlivierZal Just out of curiosity: is energy reporting something you’d like to add to MELCloud Home later, or is it limited by the MELCloud API?
Hi @JLE there’s an energy API via Home: should be part of a next release.
@Rembo038, I don’t succeed in reproducing: which phone, OS, Homey firmware and MELCloud app version are you running?
Oh that is strange.
I use the Samsung S24FE, Android, Homey Firmware 13.1.1, MelCloud & MelCloud Home v44.0.1
