A post was split to a new topic: Intergas incomfort (LAN2RF gateway) connection 2 Split Org
Hi all,
I have a homey pro and am trying to connect my intergas incomfort to it. However, I keep getting the message: Failed to connect, please check the form: {}.
IP adres, username and password are correct. I have used âadminâ as username and the password which is on the back of the gateway, but I have no way of verifying this is correct.
I have tried it multiple times and also resetted the intergas gateway.
Does someone have an idea how I can fix this?
Thanks!

[APP][Pro] Intergas Incomfort - Comfortable temperatures in your home
Hi, I am new in Homey, come from Domoticz.
I added Intergas Incomfort in Homey and so far looks ok. I also synchronize Homey to Google Home and this also looks ok and I can set the temperature.
But if I want to use a voice command for Google (like âset the Intergas to 20) there comes an error that the thermostat can not be set.
Am I doing something wrong maybe?
Try âchange the temperature to 20 degreesâ. Altering the command a bit can make the difference.
I can get âcouldnât reach your thermostatâ responses, but it adjusts the temperature anyway.
No problems with it here.
You indeed need to use the credentials mentioned on the back of the gateway.
- Make sure to solely enter the IP address, no adding of slashes or http stuff
- Do you use any network tools like PiHole/Adguard/alternative dns servers etc.?
- Do you use vLANâs?
- Auto correct blessings:
Make sure the enteredadmindoesnât get changed intoAdmin - Same for the pw, when it starts with a lower case letter, make sure autocorrect does not turn it into an uppercase letter
- Check for leading and trailing whitespaces
I tried like this but the same error comes back: âIntergas kan niet in worden ingesteld op die temperatuurâ (ik heb de thermostaat even intergas genoemd). Manual adjustment via google Home (app and hub) works ok, it is just that the speech command does not work.
You shouldnât use the name of the thermostat like I tried to show:
Thank you for the reply. I have verified that I entered everything correctly (without spaces or capitals or something like that). With regards to vLAN and any other network tool, I am not sure. I have a router (where the intergas is connected to on an ethernet port) and an extra ethernet switch from netgear to increase the ethernet ports. Does this change something unexpected?
Exact same result: âIntergas kan niet worden ingesteld op die temperatuurâ, tried in english and dutch.
Additonal queston, I have a Intergas heater in my company as well, is it possible to manage this one via my Homey as well? In Domoticz I can add it easily with the external IP address and port. At the destination there is a port forwarding to to heater.
When you didnât change anything special it shouldnât use vLANâs.
Does this screen appear when you open http://gateway.ip.address/ (use your gwâs IP here) and login with admin + pw?
Does the heater or thermostat show?
Can you override the setpoint?
Thank you for the suggestions. I have manged to get it working now! It turned out that the problem was the IP adress.
- When I tried your link with the ip adress that was known to me, it did not work initially. So I tried the admin password from the router (which was printed on the back of the router. That worked and all router settings were listed.
- Then I was able to see all connected components to the router (including the intergas). So when I saw that, I noticed that the IP adress is different than the one I tried (it had even one less digit). I have no idea how I should have known this, because all I got was the IP adress of the gateway of the router (via ipconfig)) and apparantly that is different then the one of the intergas gateway itself. That was not clear and not listed anywhere.
- However via this way I managed to get the correct IP adress. And then the password worked and I managed to get the same things as in your screenshots.
With this IP adress, I was also able to connect it through homey. Thanks a lot for the help!
Hopefully this also helps for other persons experiencing this problem.
Good to hear!
This is the reason why I always advice to bind a devicesâ IP address to its MAC address ( also refereed to ad âReserve IP addressâ / âset to fixed IP addressâ) on your DHCP server; this is usually part of your router.
This prevents devices getting a different IP address from the IP pool at some point in time.
This is also the place where you can find which IP address is assigned to which device.
A tool like Network Analyzer can also be of great help here.
