Yes I also noticed the unstable behavior of that source, so I keep it as stale data and use it but mark the price feed stale alarm to true.
And indeed I also use the pbth app because of that.
I did send I a suggestion to also add co2 metrics similar to the price curve so you can make grid aware follow co2 mix of the grid instead of price.
If that gets implemented I’ll make that an option in grid aware also
Yes, in the capability ui of the battery. Does it have a slider to control how much watt it needs to charge discharge forced? Flow cards are useless for other apps like EMSs. Only capabilities I can control.
But in the repair wizard there is a field where you tell the ems what’s cap it can use to control your battery, what did you select?
Based on those two signals, not being so too select a cap and the list shared it is save to say your battery app didn’t expose a cap that can be controlled by other apps, so I am afraid your out of luck. Submit a request to the app maker to expose the control though caps instead of flow cards.
i am switching to dinamic pricing and i want to be ready for this with HEMS i am runnign it for a while now(testing) but in the app i can’t set these options for the homewizard battery, is that correct? or am i doing something wrong? and how can i solve this? and that’s for both my battery’s.
Same contra question as other battery brands, does it expose caps that allow control? In your dev portal find the device and list the capabilities they expose and send them to me.
Flow cards can not be used by hems, so it needs to be capabilities
I’ve got this new Battery Anker Solix MAX AC. It’s available in Homey but it doesn’t charge. Only discharges when surplus is available. Could you please look into my report?

I’ve been searching for an Invert button or something but doesn’t seem to be there in both the apps?
Does it support charging from Homey?
But I Do not know all batteries and their apps and caps, so please investigate yourself.
Is there a capability that allows to charge with a forced wattage and one that does the same for discharge? Did you mask those in the settings of your strategy?
Engels toegevoegd, Sorry!!
Of course, I’ve already done quite a bit of troubleshooting, and this was more or less my last resort. I can get it working in Net Zero using flows to invert the values. However, in Grid Aware, the battery target power remains at 0 W. I’m not really sure where else to look at this point.
Gebruik de developer portal om een screenshot te maken van alle caps die deze batterij heeft, dan zal ik die even checken. Een optie op de cap mapping in mijn config die een invert mogelijk maakt zou het oplossen?
Target power can be both negative and positive right? That’s a proper control capability my ems supports so if you mapped it then the ems should be using it for both
For grid aware there are two main reasons for the strategy to work with your battery
Solar surplus, currently 0…
Charge to get some buffer for tomorrow
The second one is based on prediction, how much solar do we expect (enough to not needed to charge) and gore much consumption do we expect you need.
Then it only uses the cheap hours to charge the battery when those predictions tell the ems it is useful to charge.
So you need to manage the cheap/expensive hours, by linking an app that does this in the settings or by a flow you run with other events.
So the stop here only tells you the ems decision, it feels there is no need to act at this time
