Hi Homey team and community,
I’m currently using a Homematic IP setup with the following components:
- Homematic IP Access Point
- 2x 12-channel zone controllers (proportional control)
- Proportional stepper motor actuator
- Homematic IP thermostats
- Wall thermostat with humidity sensor
I’m looking to integrate this setup with Homey (Pro) for a simple but important use case:
I want to see the temperature (and ideally humidity) per room in my Homey dashboard — and if possible, also control some basic settings like room temperature or heating mode.
Unfortunately, I’ve discovered that Homey currently only supports Homematic via a CCU (CCU2, CCU3 or RaspberryMatic) and not via the Homematic IP Access Point, which is what I’m using. Since many newer Homematic IP installations are based on the Access Point (especially for heating control), I believe native support or cloud-based integration would be extremely valuable for a large and growing user base. Is there a way how to fix this..?
