[APP][Pro] Homeflux - see where you energy goes -dashboard-

Hi everyone,

I’d like to introduce HomeFlux, a dashboard widget I created for Homey Pro.

Since Homey Dashboards were introduced, I always felt something was missing: a simple way to see the actual energy flow of your home at a glance.

Solar → Home → Battery → Grid → EV

HomeFlux brings these together in one visual dashboard and lets you choose the sources from your own Homey setup. It is not tied to a specific inverter, battery or EV charger — if Homey has the required power values available, HomeFlux can use them.

Some of the current features:

  • Solar production, grid import/export and home consumption
  • Support for home batteries
  • EV charging visualization
  • Multiple solar panels/batteries/EV sources can be combined
  • Home consumption can be selected directly or calculated automatically
  • Realtime updates
  • Configurable W/kW display
  • Day/night backgrounds, including an option based on PV production
  • Light and dark dashboard support
  • Works with devices and capabilities provided by different Homey apps

My main goal was to keep it simple: open your Dashboard and immediately understand where your energy is going.

HomeFlux is now available in the Homey App Store:

HomeFlux | Homey

I’m very interested in feedback, especially from people using different combinations of solar inverters, batteries, smart meters and EV chargers.

If something does not work with your setup, or you have an idea that could make HomeFlux better, feel free to post it here.

Hope you enjoy it!

If you’re not using this yet, give it a try—I prefer it over the standard Homey energy dashboard widget. I’m currently testing the Homeflux EMS app for the backbone. Even though it’s still in development, it’s impressive work and highly recommended.
