Found this solution in the Heatit App Topic
Yes the z-trm6 is a z-wave device.
I hold my phone and the Homey Pro about 10cm from the trm6. It seems that the trm6 goes in timeout and shows ERR in the display. The pairing screen on the Homey app is just waiting
I will try your solution tomorrow
Yeah 10cm should be close enough.
Hi,
I’m having trouble updating the firmware on my Heatit Z-TRM3 thermostat.
The update from firmware 4.0.0 to 4.0.33 completed successfully without any issues. However, when I try to update from 4.0.33 to 4.0.35, the update keeps failing.
Device: Heatit Z-TRM3
Current firmware: 4.0.33
Target firmware: 4.0.35
Previous update: 4.0.0 → 4.0.33 worked fine
Problem: Firmware update to 4.0.35 fails repeatedly
I have already tried:
- Running the update multiple times
- Excluding the thermostat from the Z-Wave network
- Including it again
- Trying the firmware update again after re-inclusion
Sometimes the update appears to reach 100%, but then it fails after the device reboots. Other times it fails before completing.
The thermostat is powered and works normally otherwise, but the update to 4.0.35 still does not complete successfully.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Heatit Z-TRM3 firmware update to 4.0.35?
Is there a known issue with this firmware version, or any recommended workaround?
Yes , I have the same issue .
I also have this issue
Same issue here

The issue is fixed in an upcoming release, version 4.4.2, this can already be installed via the test track on Heatit Controls | Homey
I can confirm that the firmware update from 4.0.33 to 4.0.35 now completes successfully on my Heatit Z-TRM3.
The thermostat rebooted afterward and appears to be working normally.
Thanks for resolving this in the app update!
