Gemini Talk lets Homey create spoken messages with the Gemini Developer API and pass the generated audio URL to Flow-compatible speakers. It is useful for custom announcements, alerts, and status updates where Homey should say dynamic text instead of playing a fixed sound.
Configure your Gemini API key, preferred TTS model, voice, language hint, speaking speed, and file retention in the app settings. The app stores generated audio locally on Homey and keeps only the configured number of recent files.
