[APP][Pro&Cloud] Shelly

It’s really up to Athom to fix this but I’ll see if I can find another workaround / fix for your specific issue.

Could you test the version in the test channel to see if that fixes your issue.

Looks like this crash is fixed. Unfortunately device control is still not working. :disappointed_relieved:

I just published to live. Switch back to that version and try again on live. If it still does not work post back here with more details (what device, what is the error, have you tried re-pairing already etc.)

Controlling of all devices is not working. I already try to restart Shelly app (reinstall) multiple time. I also change language on homey to force restart of whole homey. Also tried with repair button. Nothing works.

There is absolutely nothing in the log. It’s probably not an issue with the app but something in your setup. Can you control the devices from the Shelly smartphone app outside your own network (turn off wifi on the phone). Sounds to my like your devices are not actually connected to the cloud.

And saying nothing works does not help a bit. Are the devices shown as offline, and if so, with what message. If they are not and you are trying to control them, do you see any message, and if so, what is it?

Yes, but I can only see 1 of 2 inputs. whether push-button or switch.

I also checked the first post for the known issues.
For my wifi devices I did find the event card under the Shelly app and they also work correctly.

But my z-wave devices are not listed on that card and also the page of the Shelly app doesn’t list cards regarding state of the inputs for the zwave modules.

Maybe this can help. Everything from shelly app works normally. I can’t turn it on or off for example any device in homey, but status updates are working normally.

The two chanels of a 2PM are listed as separate devices under Homey. You have to select the correct chanel ( -1- or -2- in my case with the same IP ) in the dropdown list.

No, stop sending them. It’s not an issue with the app for as far as I can tell. As mentioned it appears to be an issue in your setup and you are not responding to my questions so I can’t help you.

The Shelly Wave devices dont support button events.

That looks like a screenshot of a older firmware. Update it to the latest firmware, this is all in the troubleshooting intstructions.

It’s the newest one (web view)

SOLUTION:
Restarting the app and Homey did nothing.
I have now deleted the device and added it again (not for the first time).
Now both inputs are visible.

Ok, that first post was from the smartphone app? I only use the WebUI and that looks different.

Anyway, reboot Homey, wait 5 minutes. Post a screenshot of the device from Homey and a diagnostic report after that.

Do you know if it is Shelly who could solve this or Athom or is it general with other zvawe brands?

Strange, because from Shelly web and mobile app everything works normally. The issue that I have is that I can’t control all Shelly devices from Homey. What I mean with control (manual and with flows):

  • Turning on or off
  • Closing or opening blinds
  • Changing dim level

Devices:

  • Shelly RGBW 2 (6 devices)
  • Shelly Dimmer 2 (4 devices)
  • Shelly Plus 1 PM (2 devices)
  • Shelly 2.5 (11 devices)
  • Shelly Plug S (2 devices)
  • Shelly 1 (3 devices)

All devices also all motion and door/window sensors are showing as online and all updates are normally reacived into homey. For example movement or if I turn on device on Shelly app.

This was start happening yesterday afternoon.

As far as I know it’s a hardware and/or firmware limitation but I asked Allterco Robotics about it.

Strange indeed as the connection for receiving the updates is the same as sending commands. And nothing changed in the part of the code for a long time. I just tested it myself and have no issues controlling devices over Homey Cloud. So cant really help you I’m afraid. Try re-pairing on of the devices and see if that helps.

Is possible to try some older version of this app for homey?
