You’ve probably downloaded a “fake” PNG. Since Google always shows those squares on a transparent image, many sites now have fake PNG’s which have that as background. You need to open the image in a new tab and there you shouldn’t see any squares. If you do see squares when opening the image in a new tab, then you know it’s fake
Great update!
new setting to disable unlocking features work great. Also the timezone fix of a few updates back by the way. I will get back to you about the race issue.
@others:
what worked great for me to get a nice widget picture was to get an existing photograph and “hold the subject” for a few seconds. This way it removes the background and you can save it as a new transparant picture. That is how it works on iOS, but I guess android can do something similar.
Thanks a lot for making the App working again and for the great widget. ![]()
I found little topic with the widget.
On my bluelink-account I have my Ioniq 5 and the Kona of my wife, imported from her bluelink account. By adding my account in homey he found both cars and added them as devices. Both devices show the correct data.
Now I wanted to add both widgets in dashboards. By adding a widget I can choose the device (car) to show. But no matter, which device I choose, the widget always shows the Kona (with the correct data), but with the Ioniq 5 picture.
We got rid of our second car. Try that.
As an alternative solution I’ll also have a look at the widget.
Ok, sold the Kona.
Now I get the Ioniq 5 widget with the correct data and picture.
But in case that someone else has a second car, it would be great if you could check the widget. I ask for a friend. ![]()
Confirmed! The 12V issue is gone now
. Thanks!
v2.6.1 ready for testing:
- Fixed and improved dashboard widget
This fixes widget support for multiple cars, adds better ICE car support, improves showing charging state and goal, and adds showing alarms (like washer fluid or low tire pressure)
ahh did not see the camera icon. Then i will get something to work!. Thanks ![]()
Windows vent button works perfectly now.
However, I have noticed that the Charge Target Fast is showing/set to 100% (in Homey), but in Kia app I can see that I have both set to 80%.
Assuming you already tried a forced refresh from Homey, can you restart the app and send an app diagnostics report after 2 minutes?
I didn’t try a forced refresh; however, I have now restarted everything, and it looks like some issue in Homey mobile app. Kia app set everything to 80%, Homey web app shows everything on 80%, but when I open Homey mobile (Android) app, the Charge Target Slow is 80% and the Charge Target Fast is set to 100% and after a while this DC value is set everywhere to 100% (even in Kia app).
Definitely there is an issue in Homey (Android) mobile app. Every time I open a car (device) and then click on the Charge Targets category, it opens the Charge Target Fast as the first one and it has 100%. After a while this value is spread to the Homey web app and even Kia app (so everywhere).
I have cleared the app data to be sure it is not a cause of some broken state.
I cannot reproduce this. I also have AC set at 80%, and DC at 100%. It works as expected.
Can you send an app diagnostics 2 minutes after doing a app restart (With the car paired off course)
DC at 100% is probably not a problem.
Set your DC to 80% and when you re-open the device in Homey (Android) mobile app, it will show that it is 100% and will set it to 100%.
Yes, with DC target I can reproduce. That is really weird! It happens when closing and re-opening the Homey mobile app ![]()
Second car now works with 2.6.1. Thanks! ![]()
Only a minor issue: both cars have the Ioniq 5 picture. But this May be a topic since the Ioniq 5 is the Main car on my bluelink-account and the kona is only Importe. And of course I can change the picture.
yes, you need to change the picture once.
I can only come to the conclusion this is a bug in the Homey Mobile app itself. I can fully reproduce it. But from the app code I can not prevent it happening, other than creating a workaround. Will do that for now in an intermediate app release. I have also reported the bug to Athom.
v2.6.2 ready for testing:
- Fixed DC charge target using workaround
This is a temporary workaround until Athom fixes the bug in the Homey Mobile app.
