[App][Pro][CLI] Envisalink for Vista — Local Alarm Integration
I’m sharing Envisalink for Vista v1.0.4, an experimental community app for connecting a Honeywell/Ademco Vista alarm panel to Homey Pro through an Envisalink EVL4.
It’s running in my own setup with a Vista 20P and EVL4, including alarm status and manual arm/disarm controls.
What it supports
-
Local TCP connection to EVL4, with reconnect and keepalive.
-
Partition status, bypass, trouble, alarm and fire monitoring.
-
Homey contact, motion and fire zone devices.
-
Flow triggers and conditions for alarm-state changes.
-
A Homey Dashboard keypad for Arm Stay, Arm Away and Disarm.
-
Optional MQTT integration for Home Assistant alarm status and controls.
Manual commands require a four-digit Vista user code. The app does not save that code or provide an automatic Flow disarm action.
Home Assistant and MQTT are optional. The local Homey integration works without them.
Important limitations
This is a CLI-installed source release, not an App Store app.
-
Tested with Vista 20P and EVL4; other panel models are not verified.
-
The current parser handles zones 1–11.
-
Users must edit the supplied zone configuration to match their own zone numbers, names and sensor types before adding zone devices.
-
Zones are not automatically discovered.
-
The widget and MQTT bridge are designed around one alarm partition.
Installation and zone-configuration instructions are included in the repository.

The package passes Homey CLI debug-level validation. It is not App Store-ready.
Community project
This is independent software, not an official Honeywell, Resideo, EyezOn or Athom product.
The source is shared under the MIT license, as-is. I cannot commit to ongoing maintenance or guaranteed support. Community contributions, forks and volunteer maintainers are welcome.
Please don’t include alarm codes, EVL passwords or MQTT credentials in public posts or logs.
