Based on a customer who bought 2 of these at us for use with Homey, we unfortunately don’t have a Homey lying around but as we never got a complain about it we tried researching if his statements are true based on his email:
The Bestcon universal remote works in the Broadlink app on my phone, but is not recognized within the Broadlink app on my Homey Pro 2026. The remote is not recognized. From what I have been able to find in the Homey community, this is a known problem because it is not an original Broadlink device. I have been trying workarounds and getting tips from others to get things working all afternoon, but I keep reaching the same conclusion.
