@Chris86 An issue with pairing on a 2019 Homey Pro was fixed, but not yet released. I’m really sick right now and haven’t touched my laptop since. Hopefully I can get a release out tomorrow or monday.
@Steve_Nye There isn’t a known function for this, so I’m gonna say no. I’m also not sure if an official Apple app is able to do it either…
@Steve_Nye If you could point me to what you were using, I can take a look. From what I know is that only certain types of notifications are able to show on the apple tv, such as a door unlock or doorbell event, and those are “misused” by some.
Thanks for this app. Would it maybe be possible to read Temperature and Humidity from HomePods? They have the sensors, but not exposed as far as I know?
I have two second-generation HomePod speakers. I can find them in the Add Apple TV section, but when I try to add them, it asks for a code. When I search for them in the Add HomePod section, it can’t find them.
For me the app crashes everytime, I turn off the Apple TV with the app. My workaround in the advanced flows: I wake up the Apple TV via Pronto HEX and restart the app a couple of seconds later, which brings the AirPlay-Connection back to life. Here is a picture of the happening:
I’m curious, in Apple Home the Homepod mini exposes a temperature and humudity sensor, is this something that would be able to be exposed in Homey as well?
Great job on the app! Just curious: do you have a when card on the roadmap for “app changed”. Would be a great addition in my opinion! And no hurry, I know your priority is stability
@XeNoN62 That’s unfortunate. Your other Apple TV is doing fine? From the diagnostics report I see that the device times out and that seems related to something I’m fixing right now, and that fix will be released soon. I don’t know for sure though…
@Yann_Liqueur That’s odd, because now playing information should be available. Could you please go in to the settings of a HomePod and press restart connection a few times? Maybe that resolves the issue. Playing media at the time of reconnecting is recommended.
