Ajax systems integration to complement home security

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Ajax Systems app on Homey and currently have my Ajax Hub connected in SIA mode.

Homey successfully receives events from Ajax (for example “Group armed”, “Group disarmed”, alarms, etc.), but it seems impossible to actually arm or disarm the system from Homey. When I try, I get a message indicating that the action is not available in SIA mode.

My Ajax setup uses Areas/Groups (Portico, Ground Floor, First Floor).

I’m trying to understand:

  • Has anyone successfully armed/disarmed an Ajax Hub from Homey?

  • Are you using SIA, Proxy Server, or Enterprise API mode?

  • Is arm/disarm available for regular users, or only for installers/partners?

  • Are Ajax Areas/Groups exposed as separate devices in Homey?

  • Is there any workaround to fully integrate Ajax with Homey automations?

At the moment Homey receives all events correctly, but I can only monitor the system, not control it.

Any advice or real-world experience would be greatly appreciated.

So this was mainly for self usage, however seeing as theres still no proper Ajax integration here goes : Ajax Beveiliging | Homey . I’'ll further update this in the upcoming weeks, but it should at least give you access to your hub to arm/disarm/night mode without requiring enterprise acces. Also some basic function for devices.

Seems to work flawlessly for both information messages from all individual devices, setting and disarming the alarm through the hub.
